A mobile terminal includes a first base having a first light transmission part, the first light transmission part is configured to transmit light from an inside to an outside of the first base. A light source is arranged inside the first base and in a location capable of emitting the light to the outside of the first base via the first light transmission part. A light reflector is arranged outside the first base and in a location corresponding to the first light transmission part, and the first light reflector has a greater strength than that of the first base.

A mobile terminal includes a base including a plurality of light transmission parts, with at least one light source inside the base. A plurality of light guides may be connected to the plurality of light transmission parts from the outside of the base. Each light guide includes a first surface for reflecting light emitted from the at least one light source, and a first light reflector in a first area which is at least a part of an outer circumference of the base.

An acquisition request control section sends an instruction to a practical information acquisition section at regular time intervals, and the practical information acquisition section acquires the user's desired information from an external server based on the instruction. A display section displays the acquired information according to a predetermined display mode.
