An on-board sensor cleaning device includes nozzle ports. The on-board sensor cleaning device ejects fluid from the nozzle ports in a predetermined order to clean a sensing surface of an on-board sensor.

Device for cleaning in-vehicle sensor

An onboard optical sensor cleaning device ejects fluid against a sensing surface of an onboard optical sensor installed in a vehicle and removes foreign matter from the sensing surface. The onboard optical sensor cleaning device includes a cleaning liquid ejection port that ejects supplied cleaning liquid and an air ejection port that ejects supplied air. The cleaning liquid ejection port and the air ejection port are independent from each other, an air ejection axis of the air ejection port is set so that the ejected air mixes with the cleaning liquid ejected from the cleaning liquid ejection port and to be directed toward the sensing surface.

Onboard optical sensor cleaning device

The on-vehicle optical sensor cleaning system includes a washer pump that feeds a cleaning liquid, an air pump, a nozzle member, and a controller. The air pump includes a discharge valve and discharges air through the discharge valve. The discharge valve opens when air is compressed in the air pump. The nozzle member includes an ejection port that ejects a gas-liquid mixture toward a sensing surface of an on-vehicle optical sensor to remove foreign matter from the sensing surface. The cleaning liquid from the washer pump and the air from the air pump are mixed in the gas-liquid mixture. The controller controls the washer pump and the air pump. The controller is configured so that the gas-liquid mixture is ejected by storing the cleaning liquid in the nozzle member to cover the ejection port and then feeding the air to the nozzle member.

System for cleaning on-vehicle optical sensor and method for the same

A vehicle wiper device moves a wiper back and forth between a bottom reversing position and a top reversing position. A drive source rotates an output shaft back and forth about a first axis within a rotational angle range of less than 360&#xb0;. A link mechanism includes a wiper joint coupled to the wiper. The link mechanism rotates the wiper joint back and forth around a second axis within a rotational angle range that is smaller than the rotational angle range of the output shaft. The link mechanism is configured so that torque of the wiper joint is greater when the wiper is at the bottom reversing position than when the wiper is at the top reversing position.

Vehicle wiper device

A rear spoiler includes a depth end wall, which bounds an accommodation space, which accommodates a wiper blade upon positioning of the wiper blade in a stop position. A distance between the depth end wall and the wiper blade in the stop position measured in a direction generally parallel to a surface of a window glass, which is wiped by the wiper blade, is set such that the distance between the depth end wall and a first longitudinal side of the wiper blade, which is opposite from the pivot axis, is larger than the distance between the depth end wall and a second longitudinal side of the wiper blade, which is opposite from the first longitudinal side of the wiper blade.

Wiper system

A backdoor apparatus includes a backdoor panel, a rear spoiler and a wiper mechanism. The wiper mechanism includes a motor assembly, a wiper arm and a wiper blade. A motor installation recess is formed in a top portion of the backdoor panel to receive the motor assembly. The motor assembly includes a cover, which covers a portion of a motor, which is exposed from the rear spoiler. The cover has a flange, which covers a top end part of the glass. The cover, which includes the flange, does not contact the glass.

Backdoor apparatus

An electric parking brake system includes motors, parking brakes, current a detection portion, a drive circuit, and a controller. The parking brakes are driven by the motors to apply braking force to wheels. The current detection portion detects the amount of current supplied to the motors. The drive circuit supplies a constant predetermined voltage to the motors. The controller controls supply of electricity to the motors. The drive circuit is controlled by the controller. When a detected current value exceeds a predetermined value, the controller stop supplying electricity to the motors.

Electric parking brake system and method for controlling the same

A sensor included in each brake system section detects the operation state of an electric parking brake in another brake system section. Based on the detected operation state, the sensor assumes the drive command that is to be output from a controller of the other brake system section to a controller of its own brake system section. The controller of one brake system receives an input of a drive command that is output from the controller of the other brake system. The controller of one brake system compares the assumed drive command (internal value) with the input drive command (input value). When the internal value and the input value do not match, the controller determines that an abnormality has occurred in the other brake system section.
