A medium supply apparatus includes: a placement mount on which a plurality of media are placed; a transportation mechanism that transports an uppermost medium of the plurality of media placed on the placement mount; and an aspiration mechanism that aspirates air to attract the uppermost medium to the transportation mechanism, wherein the aspiration mechanism includes a blocking means for blocking air aspiration performed by the aspiration mechanism, in such a manner as to prevent another medium of the plurality of media that is located below the uppermost medium from being attracted to the transportation mechanism.

Medium supply apparatus

A controller of an inkjet printer performs control to: during ink delivery in a first ink tank pair, as a preparation of ink delivery in a second ink tank pair, generate positive pressure and negative pressure respectively in third and fourth ink tanks of the second ink tank pair and supply ink to the second ink tank pair; and upon completion of the ink delivery in the first ink tank pair, perform printing by ejecting the ink from an inkjet head while delivering the ink between the third and fourth ink tanks of the second ink tank pair prepared for the ink delivery via an ink flow passage and the inkjet head.

Inkjet printer

There is provided a conveying device including a controller that makes a conveying speed of a printing medium conveyed by a first conveyor unit be higher than a conveying speed of a printing medium conveyed by a second conveyor unit and makes the printing medium be conveyed while forming sagging on the printing medium between the first and second conveyor units. The controller makes a sheet sensor acquire the amount of light, which passes through the printing medium conveyed between a light emitting part and a light receiving part, as the amount of received light and determines whether or not the double-feed of the printing media has occurred only when this amount of received light is smaller than the double-feed criterion amount of received light at substantially the same conveying distance of the printing medium conveyed by the first conveyor unit.

Conveying device

An image forming machine includes an image data memory, an image data mapper, and a printer. For an envelope, the image data memory stores image data to be printed on a back of the body and a face of the flap, as backside image data. Based on this data, the image data mapper generates print data including a first print data to be printed on the body back and a second print data to be printed on the flap face. The printer prints a part of the backside image data on the body back in accordance with the first print data, and a remaining part of the backside image data on the flap face in accordance with the second print data.
