An optical fiber temperature sensor implements a temperature monitoring function in an interphase insulating material between sandwich bus bars. The optical fiber temperature sensor is formed by housing an optical fiber cable in a housing formed from an ultra-thin sheet made from an insulating material having insulation quality equal to or higher than interphase insulating material between sandwich bus bars. Multiple ultra-thin columnar members, each made from same material as is housing, are housed in multiple locations in housing. Multiple sensor rings are each formed by unfixedly winding a portion of optical fiber cable with a length equal to or longer than that corresponding to range resolution around corresponding one of ultra-thin columnar members. The multiple sensor rings measure temperatures in multiple locations. Silicone sealing is applied to housing side surfaces. All surfaces of housing are sealed with a hermetic sealing member made from a silicone-based liquid insulating material.

Optical fiber temperature sensor

A sustained-release formulation is provided comprising a solid dispersion composition comprising a tricyclic compound or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof in a mixture comprising a water-soluble polymer and a water-insoluble polymer, and an excipient.

Sustained-release formulation

Sustained release formulation containing tacrolimus or its hydrate is provided. The time (T63.2%) required for 63.2% of the maximum amount of tacrolimus or its hydrate to be dissolved is 0.7 to 15 hours. The time is measured in accordance to the Japanes Pharmacopocia, the 13-th edition, Dissolution Test, No. 2 (Puddles method, 50 rpm) using an aqueous 0.005% hydroxypropyl cellulose solution. This aqueous test solution is adjusted to pH 4.5, accordingly. The formulation further comprises a solid base which is a water-soluble or water-insoluble polymer. The formulation is in the form of a powder, fine powder, granule, tablet or capsule. The formulation is administered to a patient once a day for preventing organ or tissue rejection by transplantation or autoimmune disease. In addition, a solid dispersion composition is provided. The solid dispersion comprises tacrolimus or its hydrate in a mixture containing water-soluble or water-insoluble polymer and an excipient.

Sustained release formulation containing tacrolimus

A personal computer has a display panel, a main body, an engaging member and a stopper portion. The display panel and main body are coupled by a hinge mechanism to be rotatable between a first state in which the display panel is superposed on the main body facing a display surface and a second state in which the display panel is superposed on the main body facing a back surface. In the first state, the engaging member projects from the display surface of display panel. In the second state, the engaging member projects from the back surface of display panel. The stopper portion engages the engaging member in each of the first and second states.

A die is prevented from being damaged due to a contact with the heating section of a cooling module at a given point of the die according to a mounting error or a usage state.

Electronic device

An air-applying device has an impeller having a center of rotation, and a case which contains the impeller. The case includes a first edge defining an inlet port of air which exposes the center of rotation, a second edge defining an outlet port of air, and a high-pressure region which presents upon operational rotation of said impeller. The high-pressure region is located within the case along a peripheral portion of the impeller. A distance between the center of rotation of the impeller and the first edge is shorter in the direction from the center of rotation to a center of the high-pressure region than from the center of rotation to region other than the high-pressure region.

A control device of a cooling device controls a fan based on a desired temperature around a CPU set by a target value setting unit and a temperature detected by a temperature detecting unit, so that the temperature around the CPU substantially coincides with the set desired temperature. When the detected temperature exceeds the desired temperature, the control device causes the fan to rotate. At this time, the control device monitors the level of a noise generated by the fan by means of the noise detecting unit. The control device increases the value of the voltage supplied to the fan within a range in which the detected noise does not vary abruptly. As a result, the rotation speed is gradually increased to a predetermined value without causing an abrupt rise of a noise, which may acutely irritate the user.
