A structure for fixing a connector to a fixing portion includes the connector and the fixing portion. The fixing portion includes a bracket and a fitting portion. The bracket is erected on the fixing portion. The connector includes a lock portion configured to, when the bracket is inserted into the lock portion by attaching the connector to the fixing portion, lock the bracket. The fitting portion is configured such that a part of the connector is fitted into the fitting portion when the connector is attached to the fixing portion. The bracket may be integrally molded with the fixing portion molded with a resin. The fitting portion may have a hole portion running along a fitting direction in which the connector is attached to the fixing portion, and a slit may be formed in the fitting portion.

Structure for fixing connector

A connector includes an insulating housing, a conductor unit having a plurality of conductors arranged in a row and an insulating holding body integrally molded with the conductors, and a sealing member that seals between the conductor unit and the housing. Each of the conductors includes a plate-shaped body and terminal parts provided at both ends of the body, respectively. The holding body includes a fitting part fitted to the housing, a plurality of covering parts each extending from the fitting part along the body and individually surrounding the body, and insulating walls each dividing two adjacent terminal parts. Each of the insulating walls has a main wall part and the main wall part extends on an extension line of a gap between two adjacent covering parts and divides two adjacent terminal parts.

Connector

A connector includes: a housing having a first through-hole; a plate-shaped conductor inserted into the first through-hole; and a sealing part that has a flat annular shape in a plane view and seals between the conductor and the hosing. The sealing part has a pair of linear first sealing parts and a pair of arc-shaped second sealing parts. The housing has a recess that has a flat shape in a plan view and receives the sealing part. An inner dimension in a longitudinal direction of the recess is substantially equal to an outer dimension in the longitudinal direction of the sealing part, and an inner dimension in a short direction of the recess is smaller than an outer dimension in a short direction of the sealing part. The conductor presses and compresses the first sealing part and the second sealing part in a held state.

A connector includes an insulating housing that is fixed to a casing of a first device, a plurality of conductors to electrically connect the first device and the second device, an insulating sealing member that includes a plurality of annular sealing parts that seal between the conductors and the housing and a connecting part that connects the sealing parts, and an insulating support member that includes second through holes into which the conductors are inserted, is attached to the housing from a side of the second device, and supports the sealing parts. The housing and the sealing member have a first fitting structure in which they are fitted to each other along an axial direction of the conductor, and the sealing member and the support member have a second fitting structure in which they are fitted to each other along the axial direction of the conductor.

A connector includes an insulating housing that is fixed to a casing of a first device at a communication part through which an opening of the casing of the first device and as opening of a casing of a second device communicate with each other, a conductor unit including a plurality of conductors arranged in a row and an insulating holding body integrally molded with the conductors, and a sealing member that seals between the conductor unit and the housing. Each of the conductors includes a plate-shaped body. A wire harness includes at least one electrically conductive path, a waterproof connector, a tubular shield member and a shield shell. The waterproof connector includes a waterproof packing a connector housing and a terminal. The waterproof packing includes a cylindrical packing body and a heat transfer member, the heat transfer member being provided integrally with the cylindrical packing body. The heat transfer member of the waterproof packing is formed of metal, the heat transfer member being configured to transfer heat from the connector housing. The heat transfer member is configured to transfer the heat from the connector housing of the waterproof connector to the metal case when the waterproof packing of the waterproof connector is inserted into an insertion hole of the metal case.

A connector including a female connector and a male connector is provided. The female connector has a female terminal, a female terminal accommodation portion, and a female-side finger-touch prevention portion. The female-side finger-touch prevention portion is arranged in an entrance of the female terminal accommodation portion, and is configured to generate a force for biasing toward a center of the opening in a state where the opening is enlarged in diameter with insertion of the male terminal. The male connector has a male terminal including a recess in an intermediate portion of an electrical contact portion. The recess of the male terminal is formed in a portion where the opening of the female-side finger-touch prevention portion can be fitted into the recess at a position before the male terminal contacts the female terminal and where the opening can be remove from the recess at a position after the male terminal contacts the female terminal.

A self-aligning busbar assembly includes a housing, a busbar having a first terminal connecting end, a second terminal connecting end, and a jog portion disposed therebetween, and a front holder coupled to the housing and the busbar. The front holder includes an inner wall defining a busbar receiving aperture to receive at least a portion of the busbar, and at least one flexible tab extending inwardly from the inner wall into the busbar receiving aperture. The at least one flexible tab is configured to bias and center the at least a portion of the busbar within the busbar receiving aperture. At least one clearance is defined in the busbar receiving aperture between the inner wall and the busbar and is configured to enable at least one of the first and second terminal connecting ends to move to account for tolerances and/or variances during installation of the busbar assembly.

Self-aligning busbar assembly

A connector includes a plurality of terminal units. The terminal unit includes a terminal main body, a plug cap having the terminal main body inserted therein, fitted with a counterpart connector, and formed in a cylindrical shape, and a contact passing between the terminal main body and the plug cap. The contact includes a first connecting portion having a first abutting portion abutting on an outer circumferential surface of the terminal main body and a second connecting portion having a second abutting portion abutting on an inner circumferential surface of the plug cap. At least either the first connecting portion or the second connecting portion is a spring member movably biasing the plug cap in a perpendicular direction to a fitting direction with the counterpart connector in a state in which electric connection to the terminal main body is maintained.

Connector device

A connector assembly may include first and second connector bodies and a terminal splitter. The second connector body may matingly engage the first connector body. The terminal splitter may be received in at least one of the first and second connector bodies. The terminal splitter may include a body portion having first and second wires connected thereto and a blade portion extending from the body portion and including a third wire connected thereto. The third wire may be joined to a female receptacle mounted in the other one of the connector bodies for being joined to the blade portion.
