An image forming apparatus includes an image forming member to form an image to an recording material, a plurality of sheet finisher units, each of which performs different sheet finishing to the recording material on which the image has formed, a plurality of indicating member provided respectively at least one to the each sheet finisher unit, an input member to accept an input of a sheet finishing mode corresponding to the sheet finishing performed by the sheet finisher unit, a sheet finishing judging member to judge the sheet finisher unit performing the sheet finishing corresponding to the input sheet finishing mode, and an indicating control member to light the indicating member provided to the judged sheet finisher unit in a first display mode.

Image forming apparatus

An image forming system includes: an image forming apparatus capable of conveying a recording sheet at a predetermined speed; at least one finisher capable of conveying the sheet eject from the image forming apparatus at a prescribed speed to process the sheet; and a controller for changing a conveyance speed of the recording sheet in the finisher to be higher than that of the sheet in the image forming apparatus.

Finisher with increased conveyance speed

The present invention concerns a fixing apparatus and an image-forming apparatus. The fixing apparatus and the image-forming apparatus include a heating roller; a heating element disposed in the heating roller; a pressing roller pressure-contacting the heating roller to fix an image onto a transfer sheet passing through a pressure-contacting section between the heating roller and the pressing roller; and a cooling device to cool the heating roller. In the fixing apparatus, the cooling device is activated during a predetermined time period after consecutive fixing operations are completed. While, the image-forming apparatus further includes a control section to activate the cooling device during a predetermined time period after consecutive fixing operations are completed.

A developer replenishing apparatus includes: a developer storing container for storing a developer therein; a first driving source for rotating the developer storing container to supply the developer; a developer reservoir section for receiving the developer supplied from the developer storing container; a conveying screw for replenishing the developer in the developer reservoir section onto a developing device; a second driving source for driving the conveying screw; and a stirring member for stirring the developer in the developer reservoir section, the stirring member having a first and second one-way clutches provided on a driving shaft thereof. The stirring member is driven by the first driving source through the first one-way clutch, and driven by the second driving source through the second one-way clutch.
