A host computer, a plurality of thermal carving machines, and a user terminal are connected to a network. The host computer includes seal image creation means that permits edition of a seal image using the user terminal, site selection means that allows a user to specify one site from a site candidates list, ID issuing means that issues an order ID for identifying the contents of an order, and order information registration means that registers the issued order ID and order information in a database. A control device of the thermal carving machine includes order acceptance means that accepts an order ID input when information on the input order ID is registered in the database, and carving control means that performs seal carving of a stamp based on seal image data associated with the order ID.

System and method for stamp ordering and thermal carving

Provides is a seal surface carving apparatus capable of carving a seal surface using only a single attachment irrespective of a size of a stamp. A porous impression die having a seal surface to be carved is set on a dedicated attachment, and is loaded in a seal surface carving apparatus. A fitting projection fit to a bottom portion of the impression die is formed on the attachment, and impression dice having various sizes may be set. In addition, a slit hole extending in a conveyance direction is formed in an impression die setting portion of the attachment. Impression die size determination means of the seal surface carving apparatus determines a size of the impression die by detecting a position at which the impression die blocks the slit hole.

Seal surface carving apparatus

Dot pattern perforations predetermined according to a type (kind and carving size) of a workpiece are formed in a part of a body of an attachment where the workpiece is to be set. A seal carving apparatus detects the dot pattern of the mounted attachment by means of photosensors to identify the type of the workpiece. This makes it possible to check consistency between type information on the workpiece input by a customer and type information identified from the dot pattern to prevent mismounting of the attachment or an erroneous carving operation.

Seal carving apparatus and thermal carving machine

A seal carving apparatus includes a thermal head having a plurality of heat generating elements disposed in lines, and thermal drive control means that performs a control process of selectively and thermally driving the individual heat generating elements while moving the thermal head and a porous material in relative to each other with the thermal head being in abutment with the porous material, thereby forming a seal face on the porous material. The thermal drive control means controls a pulse time width for thermally driving the individual heat generating elements of the thermal head under pulse width modulation control based on gradation image data having a gradation value, thereby forming a seal with a gradation on the porous material.

Seal carving apparatus and seal carving method

The present invention relates to a porous stamp assembly. The manufacturing method of the assembly comprises a first step of hermetically adhering a porous impression die member of thermoplastic resin to a front end face of a frame; a second step of fixing the die member embedded frame onto a mount that is to be in face-to-face relation with a thermal head attached to a seal carving device; a third step of putting the thermal head in contact with an impression surface of the porous impression die member, with a resin film interposed therebetween, and moving the thermal head and the porous impression die member relative to each other; and a fourth step of removing the die member embedded frame from the mount.
