A sliding device includes a fixed rail, a movable rail, a shutter to close an opening of the fixed rail, an engaging body including a pressed portion, an engaged portion, a resilient element, and a pressing portion provided to the movable rail or the shutter. The shutter is slidable relative to the fixed rail by receiving a force from the movable rail. The engaging body is provided to one of the shutter and the fixed rail, and the engaged portion is provided to the other. The engaging body is displaceable between an engaged position where it is engageable with the engaged portion and a disengaged position displaced from the engaged position. The resilient element produces a resilient force maintaining the engaging body in the engaged position. The pressing portion contacts with the pressed portion when the movable rail slides, thus displacing the engaging body to the disengaged position.

Sliding device

Disclosed is one example of a sliding device allowing for reliable sliding of members that close an opening of a fixed rail. The sliding device includes: a fixed rail including an opening arranged in a longitudinal direction of the fixed rail; a movable rail slidable with respect to the fixed rail in a state where at least part of the movable rail is exposed through the opening; a first closure member slidable with respect to the fixed rail and capable of closing at least part of the opening, the first closure member receiving a force from the movable rail to thereby slide; a first engaging portion provided to the first closure member and disengageably engaging with a first engaged portion provided to the movable rail; and a second engaging portion provided to the first closure member and disengageably engaging with a second engaged portion provided to the fixed rail.

Disclosed is one example of a sliding device in which occurrence of damage of a member closing an opening of a fixed rail can be inhibited. The sliding device includes: a fixed rail including an opening opened upward, the opening being arranged in a longitudinal direction of the fixed rail; a movable rail slidable relative to the fixed rail in a state where at least part of the movable rail is exposed through the opening; and a first closure member slidable relative to the fixed rail and capable of closing at least part of the opening, the first closure member receiving a force from the movable rail to thereby slide in a state where an opposed surface opposed to the movable rail is spaced apart from the movable rail via a clearance. The movable rail includes a support portion that supports the first closure member in a slidable manner.

Disclosed is one example of a sliding device allowing for reliable sliding of two members closing an opening of a fixed rail. The sliding device includes: a fixed rail including an opening arranged in a longitudinal direction of the fixed rail; a movable rail slidable relative to the fixed rail in a state where at least part of the movable rail is exposed through the opening; a first closure member slidable relative to the fixed rail and capable of closing part of the opening, the first closure member receiving a pressing force from the movable rail to thereby slide; and a second closure member slidable relative to the fixed rail and capable of closing part of the opening in cooperation with the first closure member, the second closure member being in sliding contact with the first closure member and receiving a pressing force from the movable rail to thereby slide.

A motor-equipped gear box mounting structure includes a motor-equipped gear box. This motor-equipped gear box includes a motor and a gear box. The gear box has a main body portion that is fixed to the frame member and within which is housed a reduction gear group that transmits driving force from the motor to an output shaft, and a motor mounting portion that mounts the motor to the main body portion. The gear box also has a weak portion between the main body portion and the motor mounting portion. A rotating shaft of the motor is coaxially and detachably connected to a rotating shaft of a worm gear that is one gear in the reduction gear group.

Motor-equipped gear box mounting structure

A conveyance seat includes: a pair of lower rails; a pair of upper rails, each of which is slidably assembled to the corresponding lower rail; an electric drive mechanism; a pair of brackets, each of which is assembled to an upper surface of the corresponding upper rail; and a pair of buffer members, each of which is arranged between the upper surface of the upper rail and the bracket. The electric drive mechanism includes a drive source fastened to one of the brackets; a shaft; a pair of screws assembled one to each rail of the lower rails or the upper rails; a pair of nuts; and a pair of gear subassemblies. The electric drive mechanism electrically slides each upper rail with respect the corresponding lower rail by the screw moving relative to the nut or by the nut moving relative to the screw, by rotation of the shaft when the drive source is driven.

Conveyance seat

A slide rail of a vehicle seat includes a first rail to which a screw having a screw thread formed on an outer periphery is fixed; a second rail that retains a nut into which the screw screws, and moves relative to the first rail by the nut rotating; a protruding portion that is provided on the first rail, and protrudes toward the screw; and an elastic member that connects the protruding portion and the screw. The elastic member has a retaining body that retains the screw, and an engaging body that engages with the protruding portion.

Slide rail of vehicle seat

A recliner includes a first and second connecting members assembled together, and a ring member that holds the assembled connecting members. A dowel fitted in a fitting portion of a frame is formed in a region of an axially outer surface of the second connecting member. A radially outer portion of the second connecting member has an expanded portion expanding radially outward in a region at a circumferential position where the dowel is formed, and a recessed portion recessed radially inward in a region at a circumferential position where the dowel is not formed. A joint portion of the ring member is placed on an outer circumferential surface of the recessed portion, and the expanded portion is placed, from an inside in the axial direction, against a weld zone of the frame in which the dowel is welded.

Recliner

A recliner that connects a seatback to a base in a manner in which a backrest angle is adjustable includes one disk-shaped connecting member and another disk-shaped connecting member, a locking mechanism that locks the relative rotation of the two connecting members, and an outer peripheral ring. The one connecting member has a smaller outer diameter than the other connecting member does. The outer peripheral ring has a joining portion joined to the outer peripheral portion of the other connecting member, an abutting portion bent radially inward so as to abut against the outer peripheral portion of the one connecting member from an outside in the axial direction, and a connecting portion that connects the joining portion to the abutting portion. The connecting portion has a shape in which at least a portion in a circumferential direction thereof extends inclined radially inward from the joining portion toward the abutting portion.

Vehicle seat recliner

A seat slide apparatus for a vehicle includes a first rail, a second rail, a lock member, a biasing member, the lock member being rotatably connected to the second rail in a state where a support shaft fixed to one of the second rail and the lock member is positioned within an elongated hole formed at the other of the second rail and the lock member to be movable in first and second directions of the relative movement and is biased by a support shaft biasing member in a direction orthogonal to the first and second directions, and a restriction portion restricting the support shaft from moving within the elongated hole in the first and second directions in a case where a load applied in one of the first and second directions is smaller than a predetermined value.

Seat apparatus for vehicle

A speed reduction device for a power seat adapted to be fixed to a seat frame, the speed reduction device includes a worm gear rotating with a motor output shaft, a helical gear meshed with the worm gear and rotating with a drive shaft driving a movable portion of the power seat, and a casing accommodating the worm gear and the helical gear. The casing includes a casing body rotatably supporting the worm gear, a casing cover tightened to the casing body, annular fitting portions fitted to each other, a first engagement portion formed at an outer circumferential side of the annular fitting portion of one of the casing body and the casing cover, a second engagement portion formed at the other of the casing body and the casing cover and engaging with the first engagement portion, and a tightening means tightening the casing cover to the casing body.

Speed reduction device for power seat

A seat adjusting apparatus for a vehicle includes a supporting member pivotally supported at a base member by a first bearing, a pinion gear driven by a driving device, a sector gear engageable with the pinion gear and a restriction mechanism formed at the sector gear for restricting a relative rotation between the pinion gear and the sector gear. The restriction mechanism includes a contact portion coming in contact with the pinion gear so that a component force of a reaction force, which works in a direction in which the first bearing is separated from the second bearing, acting on the pinion gear is reduced. A thickness of a first tooth root of a tooth included in the teeth formed at the sector gear is larger than a thickness of a second tooth root of the other teeth formed at the sector gear.

Seat adjusting apparatus for vehicle

A seat slide device for a vehicle seat includes a lower rail fixed to a vehicle floor, a support bracket for supporting the vehicle seat, an upper rail fixed to the support bracket and slidably supported on the lower rail relative to the lower rail, a nut member fixed to the lower rail, a screw shaft engageable with the nut member and rotatably supported on the upper rail and a gear device supported on one end of the upper rail through a holdong bracket to transmit a rotational force from a power source to the screw shaft.
