In a control circuit for controlling a power converter that includes a switch, a power supply circuit outputs electrical power, and a command generator generates a switching command that controls switching operations of the switch, based on the electrical power output from the power supply circuit. A failure mode determiner executes a determination of whether which of failure modes has occurred in the power supply circuit, and outputs a result of the determination. A switch controller selectively executes, based on the result of the determination, a first switch control task and a second switch control task. The first switch control task forcibly shuts down the switch independently of the switching command, and the second switch control task enables the switching operations of the switch to be continuously controlled based on the switching command.

Control circuit for power converter

A motor control apparatus controls a rotation of a motor based on a resolver signal that is output from a resolver and is in synchronization with a rotation angle of the motor. The motor control apparatus includes a control hardware block configured to correct the resolver signal; and a memory installed outside the control hardware block and configured to store error data of the resolver signal. The control hardware block includes an access part configured to read corresponding error data corresponding to a predetermined resolver rotation angle at which the resolver signal will be detected in the future from among the error data stored by the memory, a memory area configured to store the corresponding error data that is read by the access part, and a correction part configured to correct the detected resolver signal based on the corresponding error data stored in the data area.

A failure diagnostic system () for a multicore CPU having installed therein a plurality of CPU cores () that is configured to be switched from a SMP mode to an AMP mode includes: load prediction means for predicting a processing load of the multicore CPU; mode switching means for switching at least one of the CPU cores () to the AMP mode when the processing load is less than a threshold; and failure diagnostic means for performing a failure diagnosis of the CPU core that has been switched to the AMP mode.
