A joint structure for antiseismic reinforcement includes at least one structural member having a longitudinal axis and at least one antiseismic reinforcement member. Each antiseismic reinforcement member has a longitudinal axis located in a plane that is generally parallel to the longitudinal axis of the structural member. The longitudinal axis of the antiseismic reinforcement member is inclined with respect to the longitudinal axis of the structural member. A metal fitting connects each of the antiseismic reinforcement members to the structural member. The metal fitting is not fixed to the structural member. At least one constraining member is fixed to the structural member close to or abutting an edge portion of the metal fitting. The constraining member bears a force applied to the metal fitting in a direction generally parallel to the longitudinal axis of the structural member.

Joint structure for antiseismic reinforcement

The present invention relates to a buckling restrained brace capable of absorbing vibration energy produced by an earthquake, wind power and the like, in a building and a steel structure. The buckling restrained brace of the present invention is accomplished by a buckling restrained bracewherein a steel-made center axial memberis passed through a buckling-constraining concrete memberreinforced with a steel member, and an adhesion-preventive filmis provided to the interface between the steel-made center axial member and buckling-constraining concrete, the adhesion-preventive film showing a secant modulus in the thickness direction of at least 0.1 N/mmbetween a point which shows a compressive strain of 0% and a point which shows a compressive strain of 50%, and up to 21,000 N/mmbetween a point which shows a compressive strain of 50% and a point which shows a compressive strain of 75%, and having a thickness din the plate thickness direction of the steel-made center axial member and a thickness din the plate width direction thereof from at least 0.5 to 10% of the plate thickness t and from at least 0.5 to 10% of the plate width w, respectively, and by the application of the buckling restrained brace to a damping steel structure.

Screwed steel pile and method of construction management therefor

A screwed steel pile has a main pile body which is a hollow pipe. The pile end of the main pile body is open. One or a plurality of wings are arranged on the outside of the pile end portion of the main pile body. An excavating blade is attached to the pile end portion of the wing. The excavating blade has a cross-sectional area less than that of the wing and is attached to the wing where the upper and lower surfaces of the wing and the blade are continuously connected to each other at the outside of the pile end portion.
