An individual ignition type ignition coil device for engine which is directly connected to each spark plug for use, includes a coil case (,), and a center core (,), a secondary coil (,) wound on a secondary bobbin (,) and a primary coil (,) wound on the primary bobbin (,) each concentrically installed inside the coil case (,) in turn from the inside to the outside. Insulating resin (,), (,) is filled between the interiorly installed structural members. The secondary bobbin is made of material of modified PPO mixed with inorganic matter of 30% or more.

Ignition coil device for engine

A cylindrical type ignition apparatus housed in a spark plug hole of a cylinder of an internal combustion engine is disclosed. A center core, a primary coil, a secondary core and a side core are provided, and a closed magnetic path is formed by connecting magnetically the center core and the side core by a core on a high voltage side and a core on a low voltage side, or a semi-closed magnetic path is formed by connecting magnetically the center core and the side core by a core on a low voltage side.
