To prevent a step-out of a permanent magnet synchronous type motor (), a motor control device () is provided to include a flux control unit () for deriving an excitation current command value (i&#x3b3;*) according to the rotation speed (&#x3c9;) of the motor, and a voltage shortage determination unit () for determining whether or not the supply voltage to the motor is running short based on the excitation current command value (i&#x3b3;*). When a negative excitation current command value (i&#x3b3;*) is smaller than a negative determination threshold value, the motor control device determines that the supply voltage is running short and prohibits an increase of the rotation speed or decreases the rotation speed.

Motor control device

An inverter control apparatus that controls a three-phase inverter which transforms a direct-current voltage into an alternating three-phase voltage, the inverter control apparatus includes: a voltage command vector generation portion that generates a first voltage command vector for specifying a vector of a voltage to be applied to a three-phase load that is connected to the inverter; a voltage command vector correction portion that in performing overmodulation with the inverter, corrects the first voltage command vector by setting a limit onto a coordinate-axis component of the first voltage command vector on an ab coordinate system to generate a second voltage command vector, wherein the inverter is so controlled that a voltage depending on the second voltage command vector is applied to the load, and the ab coordinate system is a coordinated system that depending on a phase of the first voltage command vector with respect to a predetermined fixed axis on a two-dimensional fixed coordinate system, rotates in stepwise fashion for every 60 degrees in electrical angle with respect to the fixed coordinate system.

Inverter control apparatus and motor drive system

A motor control device performing vector control for a motor that drives a load whose load torque varies periodically. The motor control device has: a motor speed deriving portion estimating or detecting a motor speed; a speed controller producing a specified torque current value such that the motor speed is made to follow a specified motor speed value fed from outside; a resonance filter producing a corrected torque current value by receiving a control value that varies with variations in the load torque and emphasizing a periodic variation component of the control value; a torque current corrector producing a specified superimposed torque current value by superimposing the corrected torque current value on the specified torque current value; and an adjusting portion adjusting, based on the specified superimposed torque current value, a degree of emphasis placed on the variation component by the resonance filter. The vector control is performed according to the specified superimposed torque current value.

Motor control device and compressor

A motor control device performing vector control for a motor that drives a load whose load torque varies periodically. The motor control device has: a motor speed deriving portion estimating or detecting a motor speed; a speed controller producing a specified torque current value such that the motor speed is made to follow a specified motor speed value fed from outside; a resonance filter producing a corrected torque current value by receiving a control value that varies with variations in the load torque and emphasizing a periodic variation component of the control value; a torque current corrector producing a specified superimposed torque current value by superimposing the corrected torque current value on the specified torque current value; and an adjusting portion adjusting, based on the specified superimposed torque current value, the phase of the corrected torque value by controlling the resonance filter. The vector control is performed according to the specified superimposed torque current value.

A motor control device that controls a permanent-magnet synchronous motor has: a magnetic flux controller that derives, as a specified excitation current value, a specified current value corresponding to a d-axis component of a current passing through an armature winding; and a current controller that controls, based on the specified excitation current value, the current passing through the armature winding. The magnetic flux controller makes the specified excitation current value vary periodically, based on an estimated or detected rotor position, in a current range in which the magnetic flux produced by the permanent magnet is weakened, and changes the specified excitation current value according to a rotation speed of the rotor.

A motor control device includes a current detecting portion that detects phase current of one phase among three phase currents supplied from an inverter to a motor, and a current estimator that estimates phase current of phases other than the detected phase current by using a specified current value indicating current to be supplied to the motor, and derives control current corresponding to the specified current value from the estimated phase current and the phase current of one phase. The motor control device controls the motor via the inverter so that the control current follows the specified current value.

A power supply apparatus has a battery that is composed of a plurality of battery modules connected in series, a voltage detector that detects the relative voltages at the individual nodes between the battery modules with respect to a predetermined reference node, an erroneous detection checker that checks whether each of the detected relative voltages is an erroneously detected voltage and a normally detected voltage, and a calculation circuit that calculates the voltages of the individual battery modules based on those relative voltages that are judged to be normally detected voltages. If any of the nodes is recognized as an erroneous detection node as a result of an erroneously detected voltage being detected thereat, the calculation circuit calculates, based on the relative voltages detected at the two nodes located adjacent to the erroneous detection node, a recovery voltage, and then, by replacing the relative voltage detected at the erroneous detection node with the recovery voltage, calculates the voltages of the battery modules.

Power supply apparatus with function for correcting for erroneous detection

A BCU control system () includes a BCU () that calculates various kinds of measured data based on battery states such as a temperature, voltage, current, etc., of an automobile battery () so as to control actuators such as fans (A,B), a relay (C), etc., and a computer () connected to the BCU by a communication line, thereby enabling to carry out a data communication. A data collection command and an actuator control command are transmitted from the computer () to the BCU (), and the computer collects various kinds of data from the battery and the BCU so as to carry out processes such as a data display, a data analysis, etc., and control the BCU.
