A soft-melted parison is disposed in molds forming a shape of a measurement pipeline portion, the parison is expanded by means of gas inflow, and blow molding is performed. The shapes of a pipe body, a fluid inlet portion, and a fluid outlet portionare formed by an inner mold of the molds. Ultrasonic wave input-output portionsandbulging outwards in a sealed manner are formed on both sides positioned in the oblique direction of the pipe bodywith respect to a center line of the pipe body. Parts of the ultrasonic wave input-output portionsandare wall surfacesandfor attaching ultrasonic wave transmission-reception units. The measurement pipeline portionis obtained by cutting end portions of the fluid inlet portionand the fluid outlet portionafter the parison is solidified.

Method for manufacturing measurement pipeline portion of ultrasonic flow meter

An ultrasonic flow amount measuring device includes a pair of tube holding portions respectively connected to a base by a shaft portion so as to be openable and closeable, and ultrasonic transmission and reception units disposed in the tube holding portions so as to face each other in an inclined direction. When the tube holding portions are opened so as to insert a tube between holding concave portions formed in clamping portions and closed so as to clamp the tube, front end surfaces of ultrasonic transmission bodies are in close contact with both sides of a surface of the tube. When measuring a flow amount, an ultrasonic beam is alternatively transmitted and received between the ultrasonic transmission and reception units through the tube. A flow rate is obtained by obtaining a transmission time difference between the travel time and the return time of the ultrasonic beam.

Clamp-type ultrasonic flow measuring apparatus with a mounter for press tight fit of a transmission/reception unit to the measuring pipe

An ultrasonic flowmeter capable of increasing the amplitude of, and the receiving sensitivity for, an excited signal is provided. The ultrasonic flowmeter according to the present invention includes two or more ultrasonic transducers on a transmission side and two or more ultrasonic transducers on a receiving side, located as being away from each other on an outer surface of a tube having a fluid flowing therein. The two or more ultrasonic transducers located on the transmission side are driven so as to press the tube at substantially the same pressure to increase an amplitude of an ultrasonic wave. The ultrasonic flowmeter according to the present invention includes adjustment members converting an ultrasonic signal into an ultrasonic signal suitable to measurement between the tube and the ultrasonic transducers. The adjustment members each have a curved surface or a groove at a surface thereof contacting the tube.

Ultrasonic flowmeter having transceivers driving and radially pressing the flow tube to increase amplitude of the ultrasonic wave

A holder is mounted on a U-shaped curved tube portion of a measurement tube formed of a synthetic resin, and wing-shaped strips having a plate shape protrude outward from the holder. Distortion caused by a Coriolis force which depends on a flow rate is generated symmetrically with respect to a center line passing through a distal end of the curved tube portion and parallel to an outbound tube and an inbound tube. Therefore, the outbound tube and the inbound tube are twisted about the center line of the holder, and an amount of distortion is enhanced by the wing-shaped strips under the principle of leverage for detection.

Coriolis mass flow meter

An inlet conduit and an outlet conduit are disposed in a so-called crank shape with respect to a straight conduit. The straight conduit is provided with wall surfaces with which piezoelectric elements come into abutment from outside, and ultrasonic transceiver units are demountably mounted on the outside of the wall surfaces respectively. The two ultrasonic transceiver units have the same shape, and each include a covering member formed of a synthetic resin, the piezoelectric element provided in the covering member for transmitting and receiving an ultrasonic beam, and a cable connected to the piezoelectric element. The conduit portion and the ultrasonic transceiver unit are assembled separately. The ultrasonic transceiver units are disposed on both sides of the conduit portion and are coupled thereto with screws.

Ultrasonic flow meter

A locking portion is attached on a curved tube portion of a measurement tube, and a hole portion is formed at a distal end of the locking portion in a vertical direction, and a conical depression is provided on an inner wall surface on outside of the hole portion. A coupling ring of a coupling portion engages the hole portion, and a pivot needle, coming into abutment with the conical depression abuts from an inner wall surface of the coupling ring which faces the conical depression. The other end of the coupling ring is elastically attracted toward a fixing portion via an elastic member formed of an extension spring.

A first magnetic holder is attached to a U-shaped curved tube portion of a synthetic resin made measurement tube, and a magnetomotive body having a magnetic pole surface facing forward is embedded in a distal end of the first magnetic holder. A second magnetic holder is provided on a substrate at a position facing the distal end of the first magnetic holder with a space apart therefrom. The second magnetic holder includes a permanent magnet disposed to face the magnetomotive body in the first magnetic holder with a magnetic pole surface facing toward the first magnetic holder, so that the magnetic pole surface having a magnetic pole opposite to that of the magnetomotive body face each other. The permanent magnet of the second magnetic holder retains the curved tube portion of the measurement tube elastically with a space apart therefrom by attracting the magnetomotive body with a magnetic attraction force.

A disposable conduitincludes piezo-electric elementsandand a memory chipin which calibration data specific to the relevant conduit is stored. Before measurement, a non-disposable electrical measuring circuit reads the calibration data out of the memory chipto prepare a calibrating equation or a calibration table. A flow speed of a blood passing through the conduit or a flow rate calculated from the flow speed is corrected in accordance with the calibrating equation or calibration table.

Ultrasonic type flowmeter apparatus and method of using the same

An NBTI malfunction of a P-channel MOS transistor is prevented. A semiconductor integrated circuit device includes a reset pulse control unit RPC. The reset pulse control unit RPC generates a reset pulse RP for recovery from degradation caused by NBTI of a MOS transistor that receives a negative voltage at the gate of the transistor in a standby status. After the generated reset pulse RP is inputted to the gate of the MOS transistor, an action control signal ACC for activating the MOS transistor is inputted to the gate of the MOS transistor to activate the transistor.

Semiconductor integrated circuit device

[Problem] A flow rate measuring device in which guided waves are used, wherein the frequency of ultrasound is optimized; and energy injected from ultrasound transmission/reception elements is increased and the flow velocity sensitivity is raised; whereby the measurement accuracy is improved. [Solution] A frequency of an isolated peak of group velocities of guided waves, from among a plurality of peaks of group velocities of guided waves, and a resonance frequency of the ultrasound transmission element/reception element are set to agree; and the semi-amplitude of a power spectrum of ultrasound excited/received by the ultrasound transmission element/reception element is set to a value that does not overlap with another peak of group velocities.

Flow rate measuring device

An ultrasonic flowmeter apparatus, which can be mounted on a conduit flowing a fluid whose flow rate is to be measured, has two housing halves coupled swingably about an axis. Free ends of the housing halves include a clamp mechanism for closing and locking the halves in position. The halves have formed therein groovesand, respectively, and a pair of ultrasonic wave transmission and reception elements are provided on an inner wall of the groove. When the conduit is clamped between the grooves, the conduit is urged against the inner walls and deformed into a substantially square cross sectional configuration. An ultrasonic wave beam B is projected from one of the elements into a fluid passing through the conduit, the beam is reflected by an opposite surface of the conduit urged against the groove, and the reflected beam is received by the other element.

Ultrasonic flowmeter apparatus having a first and a second housing part with grooves for clamping a resilient conduit

A conduit P is clamped within a clamping holeformed by min body, left and right side platesand top plate. The clamping hole is maintained by a locking mechanismand, and the conduit is deformed to have a substantially square cross section. For example, in the case where the width of a first Cu wiring is not smaller than about 0.9 &#x3bc;m and is smaller than about 1.44 &#x3bc;m, and the width of a second Cu wiring and the diameter of a plug are about 0.18 &#x3bc;m, there are arranged two or more plugs which connect the first wirings and the second Cu wirings electrically with each other.
