A coil component includes a coil portion, a core portion in which the coil portion is buried, and first and second outer electrodes connected respectively to one end and the other end of the coil portion at one or different end surfaces of the core portion. The core portion includes a metal magnetic substance&#x2014;resin composite and a heat dissipative resin composite having a higher thermal conductivity than the metal magnetic substance&#x2014;resin composite. The heat dissipative resin composite is arranged around an outer periphery of the coil portion to connect the outer periphery and the end surface of the core portion in at least parts thereof. The metal magnetic substance&#x2014;resin composite is arranged in a core region and upper and lower regions with respect to the coil portion, and in a connecting region in at least one corner of the core portion.

Coil component

A laminated coil component includes a magnetic material part containing a metal magnetic material and a first glass component, and a nonmagnetic material part containing a ceramic material and a second glass component, and a coil conductor is formed so that at least the main surface of a coil pattern is in contact with the nonmagnetic material part. The magnetic material part is formed with the volume content of the first glass component based on the total amount of the metal magnetic material and the first glass component is 46 to 60 vol %. The nonmagnetic material part is formed with the volume content of the second glass component based on the total amount of the ceramic material and the second glass component is 69 to 79 vol %. A laminated coil component having good high-frequency characteristics and magnetic characteristics is obtained and a method for producing the laminated coil component.

Laminated coil component and method for producing same

A laminated coil component includes a coil conductor including a plurality of strip electrodes and via-holes inside an approximately rectangular ceramic laminate. The via-holes connect the ends of the strip electrodes. The axis of the coil conductor corresponds with the width direction Z of the ceramic laminate that is substantially perpendicular to both the laminated direction (thickness direction) X and the longitudinal direction Y of the ceramic laminate. The manufacturing process includes the steps of laminating ceramic green sheets having the strip electrodes and/or the via-holes and the ceramic green sheets having printed conductive patterns constituting external electrodes, and press-bonding and firing them.

Multilayer coil component and its manufacturing method

A laminated inductor includes a structure and arrangement that allows a synthetic reaction during baking to proceed without problems occurring during plating. The laminated inductor includes magnetic sheets provided with associated coil conductors thereon and a magnetic sheet having no conductor thereon for covering the inductor. The magnetic sheets are prepared by mixing respective powders primarily including Fe O , NiO, ZnO, and CuO. A composition of the powder thus prepared preferably includes about 45 to about 50 mole percent of Fe O , about 5 to about 50 mole percent of NiO, about 0.5 to about 30 mole percent of ZnO, and about 4 to about 16 mole percent of CuO. In addition, about 0.1 to less than about 0.5 percent by weight of Bi O having a specific surface area of about 10 m /g to about 20 m /g is added to the powder.

Laminated inductor

An insulating ceramic composition which comprises about 62-75 wt % of silicon oxide (in terms of SiO.sub.2), about 4-22 wt % of barium oxide (in terms of BaCO.sub.3), about 0.5-2.5 wt % of aluminum oxide (in terms Al.sub.2 O.sub.3), 0 to about 0.8 wt % of chromium oxide (in terms of Cr.sub.2 O.sub.3), about 0.2-0.8 wt % of calcium oxide (in terms of CaCO.sub.3), about 8-18 wt % of boron oxide (in terms of B.sub.2 O.sub.3), and 0 to about 2.5 wt % of potassium oxide (in terms of K.sub.2 O). A ceramic inductor is made of said insulating ceramic composition.

Insulating ceramic composition and ceramic inductor using the same

A composite component includes a main body which is constituted by combining a first block which is made of dielectric material and contains capacitor electrodes, with a second block which is made of magnetic material and contains inductor electrodes. The main body is provided with recesses for receiving other components and connection electrodes to which the other components are connected. The connection electrodes are themselves connected to lead-out electrodes. The main body is further provided with external electrodes for connection to the capacitor electrodes, the inductor electrodes and the lead-out electrodes.

Composite component

A composite electronic component includes a sintered body, an inductor part and a capacitor part which are formed in the sintered body, and a ground electrode which is formed on an outer surface of the sintered body to be electrically connected to a first capacitor electrode of the capacitor part and not to reach an outer surface of the inductor part on the outer surface of the sintered body.

A transformer contains a multi-layered coil block which is formed by laminating and sintering sheets having conduction patterns. External electrodes which are connected to the conduction patterns are formed at the edges of the multi-layered coil block. A hole is made at the center of the multi-layered coil block, and a core is inserted into the hole. For the sheet material, a ceramic material containing glass is used. For the ceramic material, for example, an alumina ceramic material or dielectric ceramic material is used. Also, for the glass, for example, lead glass, borosilicate zinc glass, or borosilicate lead glass is used.

Transformer

An inductor for noise reduction characterized in that wire is wound around a core member formed of a magnetic substance and the magnetic substance is composed of a material having insulation resistance of 0.5 to 5 kilo-ohms.
