A radiation source is relatively moved with respect to a radiation detector, on which a plurality of short-circuited pixels formed by short-circuiting TFT switches are arranged across the entire surface thereof. Radiation is irradiated onto a subject at a plurality of radiation source positions, in association with movement of the radiation source. A plurality of images corresponding to each of the plurality of the radiation source are obtained. Positions of detection short-circuited pixels for detecting a dose of radiation are set, respectively corresponding to the plurality of radiation source positions. The dose of radiation output from the radiation source is controlled, based on electric signals read out from the detection short-circuited pixels, at each of the plurality of radiation source positions.

Radiographic imaging apparatus and method

A radiographic image capturing system includes an image reconstructor for processing a plurality of radiographic images of a subject in order to reconstruct a radiographic tomographic image of the subject, and a monitor for displaying at least the radiographic tomographic image. A radiographic tomography apparatus includes a tomosynthetic image capturing section for applying radiation from a radiation source to an examinee at a plurality of different angles, and detecting the radiation transmitted through the examinee with a radiation conversion panel to capture a plurality of tomosynthetic tomography images of the examinee. The radiographic tomography apparatus further includes a still image capturing section for capturing a plurality of still images of the examinee in one image capturing position at different times, and a body motion detector for detecting a body motion of the examinee based on the still images captured by the still image capturing section.

Tomographic image capturing apparatus and tomographic image capturing method

Corrective image data obtained by reading a stimulable phosphor sheet which is uniformly irradiated with a radiation are masked, and added and averaged into reference data. The ratio between the reference data and the corrective image data is generated as sensitivity correcting data. Desired radiation image information is then read from the stimulable phosphor sheet, corrected by the sensitivity correcting data, and outputted to an external image processing apparatus.
