An electronic musical instrument including a musical instrument body which is supported by first finger of a hand of an instrument player and at least one finger other than the first finger, scale keys which are provided at positions that are contacted with fingers other than the first finger on one surface of the musical instrument body, and each of which specifies a scale of a musical sound, a touchpad which is provided in an area that is contacted with the first finger on an other surface of the musical instrument body, and includes a sensor that has a planar detection area for detecting a contact position of the first finger, and a processor which controls emission of the musical sound whose scale has been specified by the scale key in accordance with the contact position of the first finger detected by the touchpad.

Electronic musical instrument and control method

An electronic wind instrument is provided with a processor (CPU) and plural touch sensors (a detecting unitand detecting units) disposed along a first direction. A first output variable da/dt is obtained, representing a variation per unit time of an output value from a first sensor (detecting unit) in the plural touch sensors disposed on the side close to first end (tip side) in the first direction. A second output variable dS/dt is obtained, representing a variation per unit time of a sum of output values from second sensors (detecting units) disposed between a second end (heel side) and the first sensor in the first direction. The processor judges based on the first output variable da/dt and the second output variable dS/dt whether a tonging process should be performed.

An electronic wind instrument includes: a breath pressure detector that detects a breath pressure developed in the instrument by breath blown into the instrument and that outputs a signal corresponding to the detected breath pressure; an adjustment unit providing an air exhaust passage for the breath blown into the instrument, the air exhaust passage being configured to have a variable conductance for air so that a sensitivity of the breath pressure detector relative to an input pressure of the breath blown into the instrument varies; and a controller that sets one or more among a tone, a volume, and a pitch of a sound to be generated by a sound source in accordance with the signal outputted from the breath pressure detector.

An electronic musical instrument includes: a contact sensor that generates lip detection information from an operation by a performer; and a controller that derives a lip contact area from the lip detection information generated by the contact sensor, and performs musical note control of an electronic sound source in accordance with the derived lip contact area.

An electronic device includes a device body having a installation section provided on the outer surface and an internal circuit provided therein, and a connector section which can be attached to the installation section and can be removed from the installation section. The connector section has at least one functional section for connection to an external device and a first terminal electrically connected to the functional section. A process for manufacturing a semiconductor comprising the step of mounting a semiconductor component on a printed circuit board, with electrodes of the semiconductor component facing to electrodes of the printed circuit board, the step of inspecting a function as a semiconductor device with the semiconductor component being mounted on the printed circuit board, the step of bonding the electrodes of the printed circuit board and the electrodes of the mounted semiconductor component to obtain the semiconductor device when the inspection result is good, and the step of replacing at least one of the printed circuit board and the semiconductor component with another one of the same type and again inspecting the function as the semiconductor device when the inspection result is not good.
