The invention relates to a lubricant dispenser comprising a storage container () filled with lubricant and a pump unit () which can be connected to or is releasably connected to the storage container and by means of which the lubricant can be pumped from the storage container () to an outlet () of the pump unit () and is equipped with an electronic controller (). The lubricant dispenser is characterized in that the storage container () is equipped with an electronic coding means () which can be connected to the electronic controller () of the pump unit () and can be read by same so as to transmit information in the assembled state in order to identify the storage container ().

The invention relates to a method of dosing lubricating grease with a lubricant dispenser (), comprising a lubricant cartridge () filled with lubricating grease () and holding a plunger () for expelling the lubricating grease (), a spindle () driven by a direct-current drive motor () for moving the plunger (), a power supply (), a controller () for operating the motor () with a microcontroller (), and a device () for interrupting the motor current flowing through the motor (). The motor () is started up by the controller () in adjustable time intervals and a dose of dispensed agent is expressed from the cartridge () through a plunger motion with a predetermined plunger stroke. The motor current and the motor voltage are measured during motor operation, and the motor runtime, and the plunger stroke is calculated with the current and voltage measured values and at least one motor characteristic. The motor current is interrupted when the motor operating time reaches the calculated motor runtime.

Method of dosing lubricant grease with a lubricant dispenser

The invention relates to a lubricant dispenser having a lubricant cartridge (), which has a lubricant storage space () having an outlet opening () for lubricant (), a carrier () which is connected to the lubricant cartridge () in a detachable manner and accommodates a battery-operated motor () for driving a spindle (), and a plunger () connected to the spindle () for ejecting the lubricant (), wherein an output shaft () of the motor () is connected to the spindle () by means of an adapter () and wherein the adapter () is mounted in a rotationally movable manner in an accommodation space () of the carrier () that is open towards the lubricant cartridge (). A rolling bearing (), which is arranged between the carrier () and the adapter (), is provided as the bearing of the adapter (). The adapter () is secured axially against falling out of the accommodation space by means of a retaining means () that is fastened to the carrier () and preferably designed as a lid.

The invention relates to a collecting container for lubricants having a housing () which has an inlet opening () for introducing lubricant () and is open on the opposite side, and having a flexible membrane () which is fastened to the housing () and which delimits a lubricant collecting chamber () adjoining the inlet opening () in the housing (). According to the invention the membrane () has, starting from the point where it is fastened to the housing (), firstly a bellows section () and a reinforced section () connected at the end thereof.

Collecting container for lubricants

A container for collecting a liquid lubricant has a housing having one end formed with an inlet opening connectable to a source of the liquid lubricant and an opposite end formed with a vent hole, with a piston inside the housing subdividing the housing into a front lubricant compartment into which the inlet opening opens and a rear compartment into which the vent hole opens. The piston is shiftable between a front position close to the intake opening and a rear position close to the vent hole such that as the liquid lubricant fills the lubricant compartment the piston moves into the rear position. Formations on the piston and on the housing seal between the piston and the housing around the vent hole only when the piston is in the rear position.

The invention relates to a method for metered dispensing of lubricants using a lubricant dispenser comprising a reservoir chamber filled with lubricant, a gas generating unit for electrochemically generating gas, a piston acted on by the generated gas for outputting the lubricant from the reservoir chamber, and an electronic control unit for controlling the electrochemical gas generation. According to the invention, the temperature of the lubricant or the environment is measured at time intervals, and an average temperature value is derived from a plurality of measured temperature values. Using stored correction values describing the temperature-dependence of the electrochemical gas generating rate, a control parameter determining the electrochemical gas generation is set for the average temperature value, having the requirement that the gas generating rate at the average temperature value corresponds to the target value that correlates to prescribed dispensing time.

Method for metered dispensing of lubricant

A lubricant dispenser has a housing whose interior is subdivided by a shiftable piston into a generally closed gas compartment and a lubricant compartment having an outlet port and filled with a body of lubricant. A gas generator associated with the gas compartment is electrically energizable to produce gas and thereby pressurize the gas compartment, shift the piston, and express lubricant from the outlet. A controller including a power supply and a circuit is connected between the power supply and the gas generator for feeding current from the power supply to the gas generator. During a first predetermined part of an operational cycle of the dispenser, the gas generator is energized at a first level. During a second predetermined part of an operational cycle after the first time, the gas generator is energized at a second level lower than the first level.

A pressure medium supply arrangement for a CVT transmission has a pump that supplies pressure medium to control cylinders of the CVT transmission in order to change a gear ratio of the CVT transmission. The pump has a high pressure side and a low pressure side. The pump further has a bypass channel connecting the high pressure side and the low pressure side. An electrically controlled control valve arrangement is connected to the pump for opening and closing the bypass channel in order to adjust a conveyed flow of the pump.

Pressure medium supply arrangement for a continuous variable transmission

A radial-piston pump has at least one delivery unit with a delivery element. A pump casing is provided which has a first accommodation space for a medium to be delivered and a second accommodation space for a lubricant, the pump casing further has an eccentric side and a casing side. A separating device separates the first accommodation space and the second accommodation space from one another. The separating device has a first sealing element disposed fluid-tightly on the casing side of the pump casing and a second sealing element disposed on the eccentric side and connected fluid-tightly with the first sealing element. A shaft bearing configuration is disposed in the pump casing and supports an input shaft having an end portion. An eccentric element is disposed on the end portion of the input shaft. The second sealing element is disposed so as to be capable of sliding in a circumferential direction of the eccentric element. In this manner, a rotary motion of the input shaft is converted by the eccentric element into a radial motion of the delivery element of the delivery unit.

A control for a pressure fluid supply system is described, in particular for the high pressure in a fuel injection system, for example for an internal combustion Diesel engine, by means of which the pressure in a common high-pressure line supplied by a high-pressure pump, i.e. in the common rail, to which individual consumers are connected, is controlled in accordance with the instantaneous pressure fluid requirements. For adapting the pressure in the common high-pressure line to the pressure fluid requirements of the consumers, i.e. the injection nozzles, a device for limiting the amounts of fluids conveyed is associated with the high-pressure pump, which has at least on adjusting element which can be changed by means of an adjusting signal representing the instantaneous pressure fluid supply situation in the common rail. To avoid an elaborate pressure sensor device in the common rail and for the simultaneous improvement of the reaction behavior of the control, in particular when reducing the high pressure in the common rail, the adjusting signal is derived from the amount of fluid throughput in the delivery line of a pressure control valve connected to the common rail. The pre-conveying pressure or the pre-conveying amount available to the high-pressure pump is affected by means of this adjusting signal in the sense of a regulation of the pressure in the common rail.

An injection system for an internal combustion engine having a plurality of cylinders is known which has a hydraulic pump with a delivery outlet to which a delivery line common to the cylinders is connected, and a plurality of injection units each of which is associated with a different cylinder and, in normal drive operation, can be controlled pulsewise by connection with the delivery line. There is also known an exhaust-brake system having a plurality of decompression valves each of which is associated with a different cylinder and, in brake operation, can be controlled pulsewise outside the exhaust stroke, in particular at the end of the compression stroke, by alternate pressure action on and pressure relief of the hydraulic actuating element. The purpose is to create a system with which, at little expense and at favorable cost, the 'injection' and 'exhaust-brake' functions can be satisfied. This is achieved by a plurality of valve arrangements, each of which is associated with a different cylinder and in normal drive operation connects the injection unit and the in brake operation the hydraulic actuating element on the corresponding cylinder, with proper timing, to the delivery line.
