The invention relates to a dental implant comprising an implant body provided with a central receiving opening, a structural element provided with a journal engaging in the receiving opening, and a tension bolt which penetrates a borehole of the structural element and is screwed into an inner thread located in the receiving opening. First and second indexing elements are arranged in an apical region of the structural element, in order to pre-define the rotational position of the structural element in relation to the implant body. The at least one first indexing element is associated with the implant body or the structural element in a rotationally fixed manner, and at least two second indexing elements are associated with the structural element or the implant body in a rotationally fixed manner. The indexing elements extend especially at least partially into the region of the conical outer surface of the journal.

Dental implant

The invention relates to an arrangement for insertion of an implant, in particular of a dental implant, which has an external thread and can be screwed into a bone by means of a tool, wherein the implant has a receiving opening with an at least partially conical inner face. A pin of an attachment part, which can be connected to the implant after the latter's insertion, can be fitted into the receiving opening. The arrangement is to be further developed such that the insertion of the implant can be performed in a simple and yet functionally reliable manner. For this purpose, it is proposed that a screwing-in tool has a pin with a conical outer face, which pin engages in the receiving opening of the implant, and that the conical outer face is designed corresponding to the conical inner face of the implant, and bears at least partially thereon, such that at least a predetermined part of the torque necessary for screwing in the implant can be transmitted via the self-inhibiting cone connection of the screwing-in tool with the implant.

Arrangement for insertion of implants

An implant-supported dental prosthesis () has in its main body () several basal recesses () in which in each case a conical cap () is embedded in self-curing plastic. Each conical cap () sits on a conical peg () of a construction post (), which is inserted in a conical hole of an enossal implant (). Exclusively prefabricated components are used for the production of the dental prosthesis. The embedding of the conical caps () in the main body () of the dental prosthesis () takes place in a single session in the dental practice, after which the dental prosthesis is completed.

Implant-supported dental prosthesis and a process for its production

A plug connection for jaw stump models for the releasable connection of tooth crown segments or jaw segments to a model base, which includes a plug pin ( ) which can be connected in snap-lock fashion with a sleeve ( ). A non-rotationally symmetric design of a rotational locking section ( ), and a cross pin ( ) arranged perpendicular to the plug pin axis, prevent rotary movement of the plug pin ( ) in the sleeve. Disposed at the end of the plug pin ( ) facing the sleeve is a spring element ( ), which is provided with a circumferential annular groove ( ) for a snap-locking connection with the sleeve. The spring element ( ) comprises two spring tongues ( ) separated by a continuous longitudinal slot ( ). The sleeve provided for receiving the plug pin ( ) comprises a projection projecting into the inner chamber for the snap-lock connection of the plug pin ( ) with the sleeve as well as a sleeve opening region matching the rotational locking section ( ) of the plug pin ( ).

Plug connection for jaw stump models

A screwdriver for intra-oral implantation features a screwdriver shaft ( ), which, at one of its ends, is connected with a hand piece ( ) and at its other end, via an angular gear drive ( ), with a rotatable tool chuck ( ). The screwdriver shaft ( ) consists of shaft segments ( ) that can, at least partially, be moved in relation to each other and that can be tightened by means of a common longitudinal tightening device for the purpose of fixing them in their relative positions. A drive shaft consists, in the area of the shaft segments ( ) of individual shaft pieces that, in the connecting area of two shaft segments ( ), are connected via an angular gear for the purpose of torque transmission.

Screwdriver for intra-oral implantation

A device for handling dental implants (,) with a locking screw (,). The device includes an adapter (,), which is secured to the implant (,) by a central screw (,). A ratchet insert (,) can be snap-connected to the adapter (,) in a positive-locking manner. A screwdriver (,) rotatably arranged in the ratchet insert (,), can release a screw (,) connecting the adapter (,) to the implant (,). The implant (,) connected to the adapter (,) is held by a two-part holding hub (,) in a receptacle. The implant (,) is handled by the ratchet insert (,) and is screwed into the prepared bore in the jaw.
