A hand-held tool having an electromotive actuation is provided. The hand-held tool has a handle region and a working head. In the handle region, an actuating switch is provided, which is arranged for the application of manual force. The handle region including the actuating switch is sheathed with a flexible sheath part, which, starting from an end of the handle region that is facing away from the working head to beyond the handle region is formed without an opening. A sheath part for a hand-held tool is also provided.

A remotely controlled hand tool includes a grip region and an actuating button. A remotely controlled tool includes a holding region and a triggering means. The hand tool or tool enables favorable remote control by a removable application part held in the grip region or holding region. The hand tool or tool is attached to an automatically movable flying vehicle by means of an attachment.

A hydraulically activatable working device includes a hydraulic cylinder and at least one first and one second partial piston provided therein. The partial pistons can be moved under pressurization by a hydraulic medium to perform a working operation. Each partial piston has an impact surface at its lower end against which the hydraulic medium may act. A piston rod is coupled to the hydraulic cylinder and has an impact surface at its lower end against which the partial pistons may act. The impact surface forms a first partial impact surface against which the first partial piston acts, and forms a second partial impact surface against which the second partial piston acts. The first and second partial impact surfaces do not overlap each other in direction across to the traversing direction.

Hydraulically actuatable work device designed to be handheld

Pressing jaws are opposingly arranged in pressing pliers. Each pressing jaw has ribs with a longitudinal extension which is transverse to an entry direction of the ribs into entry openings of the other pressing jaw. A pressing mouth has a pressing opening with an opening contour formed by free marginal edges of the ribs. The ribs form an intersection of the opening contour that moves in the direction of the longitudinal extension during a pressing operation. A supplemental pressing part forms part of the opening contour and is arranged so as to cover several ribs and overlap the intersection. A method of use is also provided.

Pressing tools and jaws are described which include communication provisions that enable information concerning the jaws to be used with the press tool, to be transmitted to the tool. The press tool includes provisions that limit or otherwise tailor the output of the tool based on information concerning the jaws.

A device head of a hydraulically actuatable tool includes an opposing holder which is integrally formed on the device head and which receives a first tool, and including a second tool that can be moved towards the opposing holder by a hydraulic piston. A cylindrical formation formed integrally with the device head and is provided relative to the hydraulic piston. The device head has an integrally formed toothing recess for the angular fixed, but also changeable, arrangement of a retaining rod.

A hydraulically actuated working device having a hydraulic cylinder, a hydraulic piston that can be displaced in the hydraulic cylinder, a drive unit part which has a motor and a pump, and a hydraulic line leading to the hydraulic cylinder. The drive unit part is designed in an electrically insulating manner, to provide an electrically insulating separating layer, which passes through the working device in a crossing manner for electrical separation from the working device part with respect to an end of the hydraulic piston facing the drive unit part. The hydraulic line is guided through the separating layer, thereby also forming a partial region of the hydraulic line made of an electrically insulating material.

A pressing tool performs a pressing operation for the press fitting of parts. One part can have different outer dimensions within a specified range. A tool part acts on the part, is a part of a pivoting jaw which has an action surface, and can be pivoted about a pivot axis from a starting position having a greatest opening width to a pressing position having a smaller opening width. A hydraulic piston movable in a hydraulic cylinder applies a piston force, depending on a hydraulic pressure in the hydraulic cylinder. A higher pressing force is in effect when a greater opening width of the pivoting jaw is provided and when the maximum piston force is reached. When any opening width that is smaller than the greater opening width is provided, a pressing force lower than the higher pressing force is in effect when the maximum piston force is reached.

Crimping pliers are configured to crimp cable lugs onto electrical conductors. The crimping pliers includes first and second crimping jaws pivotally connected together, a first crimping matrix mounted for rotation on the first crimping jaw, a second crimping matrix mounted for rotation on the second crimping jaw, each crimping jaw having a plurality of different first crimping dies formed therein, and interlocks provided on the crimping jaws. The interlocks are configured to lock one of the crimping dies on each crimping jaw into a working position.

A metal, electrically conductive tube, and electrical lines positioned in the tube for electrically powering a building, is provided. The tube includes tube sections connected by a tubular metal and electrically conductive connection part. The tube sections have end sections facing one another. The connection part extends with its inner surface facing outer surfaces of overlapping sections of the tube sections. The connection of the tube sections is achieved by plastic deformation of the connection part in the overlapping sections. A respective contact is provided between the inner surface and the outer surfaces and ensures the electrically conductive connection between the first end section, the connection part and the second end section via an indentation in the inner surface or the outer surfaces, or via fluidic contact between the outer surfaces and the inner surface.

A method for operating a hydraulically actuated work tool having a work jaw is provided. Once an increase in force applied as a result of a hydraulic pressure has been reached, the work process does not require any further force or a maximum permissible hydraulic pressure has been reached. The hydraulic pressure is applied by a pump piston that travels through a pump path and a return path in each pump cycle. The hydraulic pressure is recorded over a time for a change from a pressure increase range to a pressure-maintaining range corresponding substantially to a specific pressure value from the pump path into the return path. At the end of a pump cycle, if the reached pressure-maintaining range exceeds a predefined pressure-maintaining range, an indication is concluded that the tool needs to be checked for a break in the work jaw.

Method for operating a hydraulically actuated work tool

A tool configured to cut a workpiece includes a tool head which has a receiving contour in which the workpiece is received, and a movable cutting edge with a cutting contour. In the course of a cutting process, the cutting edge passes through the receiving contour. The cutting edge is subjected to the effect of an advancement part and can be moved to such an extent in the cutting direction(s) that it can pass all the way through the workpiece. In an embodiment, a position of the cutting edge reached after the cutting edge has passed all the way through the workpiece, the cutting edge, with removal from the advancement part, can be moved out from the cutting direction(s).

A hydraulically operated handheld device and a method of operating same are provided. The device includes a hydraulic pump, a moving part, a fixed part and a return valve with an associated valve seat. The moving part is moved into a working position due to the buildup of a hydraulic pressure by filling a hydraulic chamber with hydraulic medium from a reservoir with the aid of the hydraulic pump. The moving part can be automatically moved back from the working position into an end position upon reaching a predefined working pressure by opening the return valve. The hydraulic pressure acting upon the return valve is increased by a separately triggerable pressure increase, which results in opening of the return valve, in a hydraulic medium volume located upstream of the return valve in a flow direction of the hydraulic medium during the movement into the end position.

A device and method for operating a motor-actuated working device is provided. A certain working operation requires a rise in an applied force to a certain working force. The device enables a rise in the force to a general working force that exceeds the certain working force and an apparatus is provided for monitoring the device value. For the certain working operation, an evaluation is performed to detect the characteristic change and that the attainment of the characteristic change is used as a signal for ending the certain working operation after the certain working force has been attained but before the general working force has been attained.
