A GNSS receiver having test signal based failure detection, comprises: a signal generator configured to generate a test signal, the test signal having characteristics of a GNSS signal; one of more amplifiers configured to amplify the test signal; a signal chain configured to receive the amplified test signal at an input node of the signal chain and process the received test signal; and a signal processor configured to: monitor the test signal by: obtaining one or more output signals of the device at one or more output node; recovering the test signal from the one or more output signals, and determining whether one or more errors occurred based on parameters of the recovered test signal based on parameters of the recovered test signal; identify a device failure based on the determined one or more errors; and generate notifications relating to the device failure.

The synchronization of the collaboration application may be performed in response to receiving an acknowledgement message from collaborating devices. The method may further include providing for transmission of a second multicast reference time request in response to not receiving an acknowledgement message from the collaborating devices. The multicast reference time message may be received from the wireless access point.

A dynamic random access memory integrated circuit includes an interface to a serial interconnect, where the interface is configured to receive a plurality of memory access instructions over the serial interconnect, and a buffer configured to store the plurality of memory access instructions prior to execution of the buffered memory access instructions by the dynamic random access memory integrated circuit. The memory access instructions are received over at least one serial link that forms the serial interconnect, and the at least one serial link may be a shared bi-directional serial link or a uni-directional serial link.
