Dose adjustable dispensing system and methods of using and assembling the same

Embodiments of the invention relate to dosing dispensers and in particular to dosing dispensers that may be operated using one hand by raising and filling a dosing chamber followed by lowering and dispersing a product from the dosing chamber and wherein the dose may be selected or adjusted and a user may visually confirm that the proper dose is being loaded and delivered by the dispenser.

Adjustable dosing dispensers and methods for using the same

A novel metering device () for dispensing a dose of a pressurized fluid is described. A dispensing valve body () is mounted in a fluid-tight manner to the lid () of a pressurized container (), which circumvents a valve element (). A valve delivery tube () is connected to the valve element (). A chamber () surrounds the valve body (), in which a piston () is reciprocable between an upper and a lower position, which define the dispensing dose. A clearance is provided between the piston () and the inner wall () of the chamber (), such that pressurized fluid can flow into the chamber based on a pressure difference between the container () and the chamber (), and the piston () is adapted to seal the valve body () when being in the upper position.

A cartridge gun is provided. The cartridge gun comprises a cartridge holder, a plurality of resilient gripping elements, a displaceable piston rod for moving a piston in a cartridge, and an actuating device for displacing the piston rod. The cartridge holder comprises a cylindrical base for receiving the floor region of the cartridge in which the gripping elements project radially outwardly from the center of the cartridge holder in the direction towards the housing into an annular groove of the base up to the outside wall of the annular groove in the base and are held in the center of the base by means of a hub. Means are further arranged at the front end of the piston rod which are designated to press the ends of the resilient gripping elements in the direction towards the housing when the piston rod is fully retracted, allowing the removal of the cartridge from the cartridge gun.

The invention relates to a tape dispenser for producing lengths of tape. The tape dispenser comprises a rotatable roller on which the tape is wound up and a rotatable take-off roller across which the tape to be taken off is guided. The take-off roller has at least one perforation element that is directed against the surface of support of the tape and that is used to perforate the tape. The dispenser is further provided with latch elements that block the take-off roller if the tape has covered a certain distance once it has been perforated. The latch elements release the take-off roller once the perforated section at the tape's end is separated from the tape.
