A covering module () is provided for arrangement on the inside of the roof of a vehicle. The covering module () covers the inside of the roof in the area of the sheet metal car body () at least partially, in particular essentially completely. Parking and/or maneuvering assistance device

Disclosed is an outside rear-view for a vehicle which has a pedestal to be mounted to a body of the vehicle and a mirror housing held to the pedestal. An electric motor is provided for tilting the mirror housing relative to the pedestal. The electric motor is mounted to the inner surface of an assembly plate bordering the pedestal towards the body, and the drive shaft of the electric motor is linked preferably through a transmission gear and/or a clutch and through a cam to a rigid transmission member coupled to the mirror housing. Alternatively, the drive motor may be mounted within the interior of the mirror housing, the transmission member coupled to the cam of the driving motor then may be coupled to the pedestal. Thereby the advantages are obtained that the electric driving motor does not project outwardly from the normal outer conture of an outside rear-view mirror and may be utilized for any modes of mounting of the mirror housing to the pedestal.

Outside rear-view mirror for vehicles

Disclosed is an outside rear-view mirror for a vehicle, having a mirror base and a mirror housing which is adapted to assume a normal position for use relative to said mirror base and to rock forwardly and rearwardly and which is coupled to said mirror base by a rocker. To reduce the danger of injuries particularly of fingers, caused by a back-swinging mirror housing between said mirror and said mirror base, at least one spreading spring is provided one end of which abuts said mirror housing and the other end of which abuts said mirror base, and which urges said housing to a fully backward tilted position relative to said mirror base.

Foldable outside rear-view mirror for vehicles

Disclosed is an outside rear-view mirror for a vehicle, having a mirror base and a mirror housing which is adapted to assume a normal position for use relative to said mirror base and to rock forwardly and rearwardly and which is coupled to said mirror base by a rocker. To reduce the danger of injuries particularly of fingers, caused by a back-swinging mirror housing between said mirror housing and said mirror base, at least one spreading spring is provided one end of which abuts said mirror housing and the other end of which abuts said mirror base, and which urges said housing to a fully backward tilted position relative to said mirror base.

An exterior mirror for a vehicle includes a mirror housing in which a mirror is fixed and which is held in normal use position on a mirror mounting and can be swung forwards and backwards relative to the mirror mounting, with a retention member fixed on the mirror mounting extending into the mirror housing. One part of the mirror mounting protrudes from the vehicle body when fitted on the vehicle body so that, in the normal use position, the mirror housing completely laterally surrounds the one part of the mirror mounting, and an edge of the mirror housing which is at the mirror mounting side, rests without pressure against the vehicle body. Furthermore, a retention member which is fixed on the mirror mounting and extends into the mirror housing has at least one flexible band which is anchored at one end at the mirror mounting and extends through a slot in a transverse wall of the mirror housing, the transverse wall being situated at the mirror mounting side.

Disclosed is an outside rear view mirror for a vehicle which has a mirror housing mounted to a pedestal such that it may rock relative to the pedestal upon impact from the front or from the rear. Within the mirror housing, means are provided for holding a mirror glass which allow pivoting of the mirror glass about any one or both of two perpendicular pivot axes, one of which is normally upright and the other of which runs transversely to the car body to which the pedestal is fastened. An adjusting device for adjusting the position of the mirror glass includes a lever which is pivotably mounted within the pedestal, and one end of which is provided with a handle and the opposite end of which is coupled to a rod. The rod extends through a joint coupling the mirror housing rockably to the pedestal into the mirror housing and is pivotably mounted to a stud means projecting from the back of the mirror and offset from the point of intersection of said axes.

Disclosed is an outside rear-view mirror for a vehicle having a mirror housing which is mounted to a pedestal such that the mirror housing may rock relative to the pedestal upon impact from the front or from the rear. An adjusting device for adjusting the position of the mirror glass includes a lever mounted to the mirror housing and adapted to rotate about axes which run parallel to the pivot axes of the mirror glass. The first arm of the lever is coupled to a handle which may be manipulated from the interior of the car. A second arm of the lever is coupled to the mirror glass through two spaced articulation joints, the center line of the first of which is placed within a plane including one of the pivot axes and extending perpendicular to the other pivot axis, and the other of which is arranged outside said plane.
