Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide a system for processing image data from an intraoperative diagnostic device in real-time during an ophthalmic procedure. The system comprises an image capture element that captures a grayscale image of a first size and an image processing element that scales the grayscale image from the first size to a second size. The system also comprises a two-stage classification model comprising: a feature extraction stage to process the scaled grayscale image and generate a feature vector based on the scaled grayscale image and a classification stage to process the feature vector and generate an output vector. The image processing element is further configured to determine an image quality of the obtained grayscale image based on the output vector for display to an operator and the image quality of the obtained grayscale image indicates a probability that the obtained grayscale image includes an artifact.

Real-time detection of artifacts in ophthalmic images

Techniques are disclosed for systems and methods to provide improved ocular aberrometry. An ocular aberrometry system includes a wavefront sensor configured to provide wavefront sensor data associated with an optical target monitored by the ocular aberrometry system and a logic device configured to communicate with the wavefront sensor. The logic device is configured to receive ocular aberrometry output data including at least the wavefront sensor data provided by the wavefront sensor, determine estimated ocular alignment deviations corresponding to a relative position and/or orientation of the optical target monitored by the ocular aberrometry system based, at least in part, on the received ocular aberrometry output data, and generate user feedback corresponding to the received ocular aberrometry output data based, at least in part, on the estimated ocular alignment deviations.

Techniques are disclosed for systems and methods to provide dry eye and/or tear film hydration monitoring in the context of ocular aberrometry. An ocular aberrometry system includes a wavefront sensor configured to provide wavefront sensor data associated with an optical target monitored by the ocular aberrometry system and a logic device configured to communicate with the wavefront sensor. Systems and methods for intraocular lens selection include obtaining one or more pre-operative measurements of an eye; selecting, from a plurality of historical IOL implantation records, a subset of historical IOL implantation records for evaluating a first plurality of prediction model candidates; evaluating the first plurality of prediction model candidates; selecting a first prediction model from the first plurality of prediction model candidates based on the evaluating; calculating, using the selected first prediction model, a plurality of estimated post-operative MRSE values based on a set of IOL powers and the one or more pre-operative measurements of the eye; determining a first IOL power corresponding to a first estimated post-operative MRSE value that matches a predetermined post-operative MRSE value; and providing the determined first IOL power to a user to aid in selection of an IOL for implantation in the eye.

An ocular aberrometry system includes a wavefront sensor configured to provide wavefront sensor data associated with an optical target monitored by the ocular aberrometry system and a logic device configured to communicate with the wavefront sensor. Ocular aberrometry recovery systems and methods

An imaging system is configured to capture images of both obverse and reverse sides of a collectible item using a single image captured by a single camera. The reflective faces of two flat mirrors are positioned at a 90-degree angle, and a collectible item is positioned and secured between the mirrors such that parallel faces of the item or its case are oriented at a 45-degree angle between the flat mirrors. A camera is mounted to face the mirrors with its perspective being parallel to the faces of the item, looking into the mirrors. The camera can see mirrored reflections of both faces of the item simultaneously from a single perspective and can capture views of both faces in a single camera image. The single image can then be cropped and reverse-mirrored automatically or manually in software to extract images of the obverse and reverse sides of the item.

Techniques are disclosed for systems and methods to provide improved ocular aberrometry. An ocular aberrometry system includes a wavefront sensor configured to provide wavefront sensor data associated with an optical target monitored by the ocular aberrometry system and a logic device configured to communicate with the wavefront sensor. The logic device is configured to determine a complex analysis engine for the ocular aberrometry system based, at least in part, on an aberrometer model and/or an eye model associated with the ocular aberrometry system, wherein the aberrometer model and the eye model are based, at least in part, on wavefront sensor data provided by the wavefront sensor. The logic device is also configured to generate a compact analysis engine for the ocular aberrometry system based, at least in part, on the determined complex analysis engine.

Ocular aberrometer characterization systems and methods

A virtual aperture integrated into an intraocular lens is disclosed. Optical rays which intersect the virtual aperture are widely scattered across the retina causing the light to be virtually prevented from reaching detectable levels on the retina. The use of the virtual aperture helps remove monochromatic and chromatic aberrations yielding high-definition retinal images. For a given definition of acceptable vision, the depth of field is increased over a larger diameter optical zone. In addition, thinner intraocular lenses can be produced since the optical zone can have a smaller diameter. This in turn allows smaller corneal incisions and easier implantation surgery.

High definition and extended depth of field intraocular lens

A method to interactively convert a source language video/audio stream into one or more target languages in high definition video format using a computer. The spoken words in the converted language are synchronized with synthesized movements of a rendered mouth. Original audio and video streams from pre-recorded or live sermons are synthesized into another language with the original emotional and tonal characteristics. The original sermon could be in any language and be translated into any other language. The mouth and jaw are digitally rendered with viseme and phoneme morphing targets that are pre-generated for lip synching with the synthesized target language audio. Each video image frame has the simulated lips and jaw inserted over the original. The new audio and video image then encoded and uploaded for internee viewing or recording to a storage medium.
