A network node and a method for the network node determine a physical distancing metric (PDM) associated with at least one wireless device (WD). The network node includes processing circuitry configured to determine a location of each wireless device (WD) of a plurality of WDs and determine the PDM based at least in part on the location of each WD of a subset of WDs of the plurality of WDs and a predetermined threshold, the location of each of WD of the subset of WDs being within a predefined area. Also, a WD and a method for the WD is provided. The WD includes at least a radio interface configured at least to receive a first message including physical distancing information based at least on the transmitted wireless signal.

Physical distancing tracking and notification

Embodiments of a system including at least one access node configured to wirelessly transmit and receive signals to and from industrial devices within at least two cells of a cellular communications network deployed within a manufacturing facility; and a computer system. The computer system includes an interface connected to transmit and receive signals to and from the access node; and processing circuitry configured to: define a manufacturing process instance, MPI, identifying manufacturing operations necessary to perform a predetermined manufacturing process; allocate one of more of the industrial devices to the MPI, each allocated industrial device configured to perform at least one of the identified manufacturing operations; and implement an Controller configured to control each of the industrial devices allocated to the MPI to cooperatively perform the predetermined manufacturing process.

Software defined manufacturing in a cellular network

An electronic component heat dissipation apparatus and methods having a heat dissipation housing. The heat dissipation housing having an external wall and an internal wall defining outer chamber therebetween. The internal wall defines an internal chamber having an airflow inlet opening and an airflow outlet opening. The housing is aligned with at least one electronic component so as to define a thermal chimney through the internal chamber for the flow of heated air. The external wall has at least one external air opening configured to allow external air into the outer chamber. The internal wall has a plurality of heat dissipation nozzles. Each heat dissipation nozzle has an external air inlet opening located within the internal wall and an external air outlet opening located within the internal chamber. The diameter of the external air inlet opening is greater than the diameter of the external air outlet opening. This allows external air to be pushed and/or pulled through the plurality of heat dissipation nozzles from the outer chamber into the internal chamber at an increasing velocity. The external air is then mixed with the flow of heated air thereby increasing the speed of the flow of heated air though the internal chamber.

Apparatus and methods of passive cooling electronic components

A system is provided. The system includes a plurality of network nodes for operating in a Time Division Duplex, TDD, network. The plurality of network nodes includes at least a network node and a first neighbor network node. The network node includes a node processor and node memory. The node memory contains instructions executable by the node processor. The first network node is configured to detect interference caused by the first neighbor network node in at least one uplink, UL, subframe, and determine a potential reason for the interference caused by the first neighbor network node.

Uplink interference management in time division duplex (TDD) network systems

A system and method of implementing an on-demand change of the RF power class of multi-carrier power amplifiers at a base station radio with minimal disruption of user service is disclosed. The power amplifiers providing signal diversity at said cell site and being able to operate at various RF power class levels. A first multi-carrier power amplifier with multiple RF Power Classes provides a main RF beam transmission at one sector of said cell site. A second multi-carrier power amplifier with multiple RF Power Classes provides RF beam transmission diversity to the main RF beam transmission. A switch operates to disable either the first or second multi-carrier power amplifier when an RF Power class change is required.
