Method for spectral evaluation of oscillation signals which have been obtained on a rotor blade of a wind power installation with an accelerations sensor. In doing so, instead of the otherwise conventional Fourier transform calculation, the spectral power density is computed. In the evaluation, also signal portions are considered which are not detected in the Fourier transform because they do not go back to oscillations which have been excited in the rotor blade.

Method for oscillation measurement on rotor blades or wind power installations

A vibration-resistant wind turbine and process for operation is provided. The wind turbine has a rotor with at least two blades, each of which includes an inclinometer arrangement with at least two axes, and an evaluating unit. The evaluating unit determines the bending and/or twisting of the blade relative to the longitudinal axis of the blade on the basis of signals from the inclinometer arrangement for each blade during operation. Each rotor blade further has at least one liquid tank which is capable of receiving or transferring liquid from or to a liquid reservoir via a transfer mechanism in response to the determined bending and/or twisting of the rotor blades to reduce vibration caused by imbalances, thereby extending the service life of the wind turbine.

Method and device for dynamic measurement of the radial deformation of a rolling bearing ring

A process and device for detecting electrically conductive particles in a liquid flowing in a pipe section, the liquid being exposed to periodic alternating electromagnetic fields by a transmitter coil which induces eddy currents in the particles, a probe made as a coil arrangement and which has an effective width producing a periodic electrical signal based on the eddy currents. The signal ha a carrier oscillation with an amplitude and/or phase which is modulated by particles passing across the effective width of the coil arrangement, the probe signal being filtered by a frequency-selective first filter unit, the filtered signal being sampled by a triggerable A/D converter stage to obtain a demodulated digital measurement signal, the digital measurement signal being filtered by a digital, frequency-selective adjustable second filter unit to obtain a useful signal, and the useful signal being evaluated to detect passage of electrically conductive particles in the pipe section.

A process for monitoring a machine, within the framework of a FMEA process for at least one component of the machine for at least one predetermined fault which can be diagnosed by means of a diagnosis diagram and a diagnosis system with sensors for detecting physical parameters of the machine, a diagnosis priority number being determined which is the product of the following index quantities: severity of the effect of occurrence of the fault with respect to the serviceability of the machine; expected machine-specific consequential costs when a fault occurs, and the possibility of correction of the fault. Process and device for dynamic measurement of the axial deformation of a rotating hollow shaft

A method and apparatus are provided for monitoring the quality of lubricant that is in a gear mechanism or machine that contains effective materials. A sample of the lubricant or of the vapor that escapes from the lubricant is withdrawn from the gear mechanism or machine. The sample is conveyed to an ion mobility spectrometer, where materials present in the vapor phase above the lubricant are analyzed. The change of the content and of the type of the analyzed materials in the sample is utilized as the actual condition for the aging of the lubricant.
