A through tubing bridge plug () for providing a gripping and sealing engagement with a casing string of a wellbore. The bridge plug () includes an actuation rod (), an anchor assembly (), a pair of compression assemblies, each including a support assembly () and an anti extrusion assembly () and a packing assembly () disposed about the actuation rod () between the compression assemblies. Responsive to longitudinal movement of the actuation rod (), the anchor assembly () establishes the gripping engagement with the casing string, the compression assemblies are radially deployed such that the anti extrusion assemblies () are supported by the support assemblies () and the packing assembly () establishes the sealing engagement with the casing string.

In an embodiment, a sensing subassembly for use with a downhole tool comprises a housing, a cavity extending into the housing, a sensor disposed at least partially within the cavity, a shock mitigating member disposed between at least one end of the sensor and the housing, and at least one seal member disposed between the sensor and the housing. At least a portion of the sensor is in fluid communication with an exterior of the housing, and the shock mitigating member is configured to attenuate at least a portion of a shock wave between the housing and the sensor.

A plugging device, apparatus, and method. The plugging device includes an expandable member configured to move from a first, retracted position to a second, expanded position, a counter configured to count a number of restrictions in a conduit that the plugging device passes through, and an actuator configured to move the expandable member from the first position to the second position in response to the counter counting a predetermined number of restrictions. The expandable member in the expanded position prevents the plugging device from passing through a target restriction.

Anchor assembly and method for anchoring a downhole tool

A compression assembly () for actuating packing elements of a through tubing bridge plug in a casing string of a wellbore. The compression assembly () includes a support assembly () and an anti extrusion assembly (). The support assembly () has a running configuration in which link arm assemblies are substantially longitudinally oriented and an operating configuration in which short arms () are pivoted relative to long arms () of link arm assemblies such that the short arms () form a support platform. Compression assembly and method for actuating downhole packing elements

A shock de-coupler for use with a perforating string can include perforating string connectors at opposite ends of the de-coupler, a longitudinal axis extending between the connectors, and a biasing device which resists displacement of one connector relative to the other connector in both opposite directions along the longitudinal axis, whereby the first connector is biased toward a predetermined position relative to the second connector. A perforating string can include a shock de-coupler interconnected longitudinally between components of the perforating string, with the shock de-coupler variably resisting displacement of one component away from a predetermined position relative to the other component in each longitudinal direction, and in which a compliance of the shock de-coupler substantially decreases in response to displacement of the first component a predetermined distance away from the predetermined position relative to the second component.

A bending shock de-coupler for use with a perforating string can include perforating string connectors at opposite ends of the de-coupler. A bending compliance of the de-coupler may substantially increase between the connectors. A well system can include a perforating string including at least one perforating gun and multiple bending shock de-couplers, each of the de-couplers having a bending compliance, and at least two of the bending compliances being different from each other. A perforating string can include a bending shock de-coupler interconnected longitudinally between two components of the perforating string. A bending compliance of the bending shock de-coupler may substantially decrease in response to angular displacement of one of the components a predetermined amount relative to the other component.
