A fluid containment apparatus with a floor and a side wall is provided. A wall support is included that supports the side wall and can be moved between an initial supporting position and a collapsed position. The side wall is movable from an initial containment position to a collapsed state to allow access for vehicles or other objects to the floor. The wall support and side wall are subsequently movable back to their initial positions. In some arrangements, the wall support is movable back to the initial supporting position from the collapsed position but is not movable beyond the initial supporting position. Additionally or alternatively, in other embodiments the wall support remains in the collapsed position until a returning force is applied to move the wall support back.

Fluid containment apparatus

A berm for receiving and retaining fluid is provided. The berm includes flexible impervious sheeting shaped to include a floor area surrounded with opposed end and side wall sections forming a containment area. The berm includes a plurality of A-frame braces arranged in vertical positions about the flooring for supporting the end and side wall sections. The retaining and support members are engaged with the brace members and the stabilizer members holding the end and side walls in generally elevated positions and in engagement with the braces forming the containment area.

All-terrain berm

A system including transportable all-terrain berm for receiving and retaining fluid. The berm includes flexible impervious sheeting generally formed of a coated fabric. The sheeting is shaped to include a floor area surrounded with opposed end and side wall sections forming a containment area. The end and side walls include adjacent their outer edges spaced retaining and support members. The berm includes a plurality of A-frame braces arranged in vertical positions about the flooring for supporting the end and side wall sections. Stabilizer members are engaged with the upper ends of adjacent braces. The retaining and support members are engaged with the brace members and the stabilizer members holding the end and side walls in generally elevated positions and in engagement with the braces forming the containment area. A bladder for containing and dispensing fluid may be located in the containment area, in which case the berm protects against bladder spillage while providing structural support.

Liquid containment apparatus with flexible wall supports

A modular fluid containment system formed of a plurality of fluid containment units and interconnecting channels. The containment units and channels may be comprised of panel units made of flexible non-porous material. The system includes brace members along selected edges of the containment units and panel units which are operative between an operative position in which the edges of the flexible material forming the containment units and panel units are held in an upright position forming side walls defining a containment or channel area and an inoperative position in which the flexible material is allowed to lie along a single plane in flat or folded condition. Connectors are provided along selected edges of the panel units to interconnect the panel units into desired configurations forming the containment system of desired shape and size.

Modular spill containment system

A multi-compartment portable containment structured positionable in an upstanding position providing multiple compartments for receiving contaminant and in a down position allowing said compartments to be folded into a compact condition for storage and transport.

Multi-section containment

A portable containment for receiving spilled fluid having collapsible end and side walls which in combination with a floor form a containment area when held in an upright position by braces position along the walls. In use certain of the walls and braces are collapsed into folded or down positions to allow vehicle entry into the containment area. Skids are positioned beneath the braces associated with certain walls. Flotation members are secured along the upper edges of at least the certain walls. The flotation members are capable of elevating the certain walls in the event spillage occurs prior to the certain walls being repositioned into the upright position. Elevation of the certain walls causes the associated braces to slide over the skids to assure their upstanding position which maintaining the walls in their upright position.

Portable containment

A containment wall strip composed of a pliable, severable material which may be cut into selected lengths for defining a containment area for containing hazardous materials. The containment wall strip includes a base and a free standing deformable berm wall which extends upward from the base. An open channel space is defined between the berm wall and base enabling the free standing berm wall to deform downward enabling wheeled vehicles to enter and exit the containment area.

Configurable containment system and wall strip

A foldable, portable containment is disclosed having ground sheeting which provides a floor section with a peripheral retaining wall made integral with the ground sheeting to contain hazardous spillage from a vehicle moved upon the floor section of the containment. Improved side bracing of the retaining wall is provided by rigid side braces having a rigid vertical leg, an inclined rigid leg which is affixed to a horizontal leg at a hinge. The free end of the horizontal leg abuts the vertical leg so that the inclined leg is anchored a fixed distance away from the retaining wall at an optimum bracing angle for reinforcement. The side braces may be made reversible so that they may be disposed on either an interior side of the retaining wall or an exterior side of the retaining wall to provide a trip profile. In either case, an anchor tab is provided to anchor the inclined leg at the hinge for optimum bracing effect.

Foldable spill collector container

A portable foldable containment (10) is illustrated for use in containing spilled material and preventing environmental contact. Containment (10) includes a floor (14) and integral side walls (16, 18, 20, 22). Rigid side braces (A) internal braces (B) and wall bracing elements (C) provide support to enable walls (16, 18, 20, 22) to extend upright a considerable distance. Internal braces (B) consist of a first brace segment (26), a second brace segment (28) and a hinge (30). Wall bracing elements (C) consist of a vertical leg (64), a horizontal leg (66), and a resilient hinge (68). These components enable the internal braces (B) and wall bracing elements (C) to be folded allowing walls (16, 18, 20, 22) to be laid horizontally for passage of a vehicle.

A portable containment (10) is illustrated for field use in containing pesticides and other toxic chemicals and the like. Containment (10) includes a floor (12) and integral side walls (16, 18, 20, 22). Resilient side braces (A), bracing straps (B), and compressible top braces (C), provide resiliency so that the upstanding walls deform to allow a wheeled vehicle or aircraft (13) to roll onto and off of the containment in the field. Elastic corners (D) allow the side walls and corners to be deformed outwardly or inwardly without tearing or damage of the corners or upstanding walls.
