A brush including a laminate having a handle end portion adapted for manual engagement, and an opposite head end portion; and a plurality of rows of bristles having end portions adhered between adjacent plies in the head end portion of the laminate and projecting outwardly. The brush is formed from pieces of oriented polymeric film, portions of which are adhered to individual plies to be incorporated in the laminate and have portions projecting from the plies separated into bristles before the plies are laminated to form the brush. Lamination is done by driving moisture out of pasteboard layers coated with dried water activatable adhesive by exposure to radio frequency energy which activates the adhesive to form the laminate.

An enclosure assembly including a frame having guides for positioning a plurality of stiff elongate panels across an opening through the frame one above another in edge-to-edge relationship and for affording edgewise movement of the panels along the guides through the top of the frame to an open position. The panels are attached together by lengths of non porous flexible material attached along the adjacent edges of each pair of adjacent panels so that the lengths of flexible material form into a generally cylindrical projections from the sides of the adjacent panels when the panels are supported on each other. The lengths of non porous flexible material are tensioned between the panels to lift the lower panels when the uppermost panel is lifted in the guides by rotating a plate like spindle at the top of the frame to wrap on the panels and move the panels to the open position.

Enclosure assembly

An enclosure assembly is provided comprising a plurality of panels, a frame defining a path mounting the panel assemblies for edgewise sliding movement across an opening through the frame, and a plurality of lengths of flexible material or screen joining adjacent panel assemblies along the track. Pairs of adjacent panels are relatively movable along the path between closed positions with the pairs of panels in edge-to-edge contact across the opening in the frame, and spaced positions with some of the panel assemblies spaced along the path and extending across the opening with the screen tensioned across the spaces between the panels; and can be moved to a position with all of the panels out of the opening.
