A non-invasive analyte sensor includes a receive side with a superheterodyne circuit. The superheterodyne circuit include a mixer with an input that is electrically connected to a receive antenna, and a radio frequency generator connected to another input of the mixer and that is configured to generate a radio frequency signal. The mixer outputs a signal that is based on a frequency of a signal received by the receive antenna and the frequency of the signal generated by the radio frequency generator.

A non-invasive analyte sensor includes one or more temperatures sensors that sense the temperatures of one or more components of the analyte sensor. The sensed temperature(s) can be used to post-process (i.e. correct) the data collected by the analyte sensor and/or used to adjust operation of the analyte sensor.

Embodiments provide techniques, including systems and methods, for identifying and matching requestors and providers. For example, embodiments can display an identification pattern that is unique for a matched requestor and provider to allow the providers and requestors to quickly, easily, and accurately validate one another's identities prior to a service being provided. In some embodiments, the identification element may be presented on a provider communication device to clearly display graphics associated with an identification element to all requestors in an area so that the requestors may easily identify a matched provider.

Multiple processor systems are provided. A first processor is configured to monitor the state of at least one other processor by comparing received signals. When the first processor determines that another processor needs to be reset, the first processor provides a reset signal to a reset pin of the processor that needs to be reset. Systems, apparatuses, and methods estimate the distance between a player and a ball by transmitting a chirp (sweep signal) to a radio tag located on the ball. During the chirp, the frequency of the transmitted signal is changed in a predetermined fashion. The radio tag doubles the transmitted frequency and returns the processed signal to a transceiver typically located on the player. The currently transmitted frequency is then compared with the received frequency to obtain a difference frequency from which an apparatus may estimate the distance. The apparatus may simultaneously receive the processed signal from the radio tag while transmitting the sweep signal.
