The present invention discloses a compact solar concentrator module and array preferably with cooling and heat extraction system for converting solar energy to other energy forms preferably electric and thermal energies. The solar concentrator module comprises a vacant structure with a substantially reflective parabolic inside surface, as well as a focal device disposed within the vacant structure for receiving a solar energy converter or a solar cell preferably photovoltaic cell. the focal device being positioned proximate to the focal point of the reflective parabolic inside surface, and a transparent cover coupled to the vacant structure opposing to the reflective parabolic inside surface for transmitting sunlight therein.

Compact parabolic solar concentrators and cooling and heat extraction system

An envelope feeder which can be mounted on a printer having a rotatable platen and a printing head for automatically feeding, printing and stacking envelopes is disclosed. It has a blank envelope feeding hopper from which blank envelopes are extracted one at a time and fed by a transporting roll and belt mechanism to the printer platen for printing. The position of the envelope is sensed when it reaches the printer platen and the transporting mechanism stopped for printing of the envelope by the printing head. After printing is completed, the transporting mechanism is reactivated to deliver the printed envelope to an envelope receiving hopper for stacking in sequence with other printed envelopes.

Envelope feeder

A printer reel-over-reel ribbon cartridge having a supply reel located above a take-up reel on the same shaft has a driven stretched elastic endless belt engaging the outer surface of the ribbon on the take-up reel for moving the ribbon from the supply reel to the take-up reel.

Ribbon cartridge

A printer having a platen mounted on a platen shaft and a line indexing driving gear includes releasable coupling means selectively coupling the platen shaft and driving gear for printer controlled or manual indexing of the platen. It includes an external clutch member rotatably mounted on the shaft and axially moveable therealong, an internal clutch member fixedly mounted on the shaft outwardly of the external clutch member and having on its inner end an external cone clutch element normally engaged with the internal clutch element and a manual clutch disengaging member mounted for axial movement on the shaft outwardly of the internal clutch member. The external clutch member has on its inner end a driven gear engaging the driving gear throughout the axial movement of the external clutch member and on its outer end an internal serrated cone clutch element, the internal clutch member has axially extending through opening means spaced radially inwardly of the external clutch element, and the clutch disengaging member has on its outer end an actuating knob and on its inner end axially extending actuating means extending through the opening means for axially moving the external clutch member inwardly to disengage the clutch elements for manual rotation of the platen by the knob.

Printer flaten clutch

A printer feeding and stacking mechanism for feeding a printer selectively with individual sheets of paper from one of two feeding hoppers holding stacks of individual sheets and sequentially depositing the typed sheets in a stacking hopper. The device features a selectively operable feeding mechanism mounted between the two feeding hoppers; mechanism for moving the feeding hopper walls between operating and loading positions; and mechanism for sequentially stacking the printed sheets into the stacking hopper.

Printer feeding and stacking

A printer is disclosed which has an adjustable support for the print head assembly, either or both for changing the spacing between the print head and paper supporting surface to accommodate multiple sheets of paper and to facilitate paper and ribbon changing and for changing the vertical position of the print head into one of two or more discrete positions to effectively at least double the number of dot positions available for printing from the print head wire array.
