Lighting system including mounting body, lever-locking bracket, and lighting module. Mounting body has first end spaced apart along longitudinal axis from second end. Lever-locking bracket includes bracket body and lever actuator. Lever-locking bracket is pivotally connected with first end of mounting body by flange retained in alignment with aperture of mounting body communicating with cavity inside mounting body. Lighting module has semiconductor light-emitting device in housing, and has mounting arm pivotally connected with lever-locking bracket by first pivot joint for rotation of lighting module to plurality of primary positions around first pivot axis. Flange of the lever-locking bracket forms part of second pivot joint for rotation of lighting module to plurality of secondary positions around second pivot axis. Lever-locking bracket is configured for simultaneously locking lighting module at primary position and secondary position by movement of lever actuator from an unlocked position to locked position.

Interfaces for electrical (e.g., lighting) devices involve use of electrically conductive edge contacts arranged on or protruding from edges of printed circuit boards (PCBs) that provide or facilitate electrical connections to first and second externally accessible electrical contacts, such as may include threaded and foot contacts of a lighting device including a screw-shaped male base. First and/or second edge contacts of a PCB may protrude through first and second openings in a housing to form first and second externally accessible contact, or directly engage first and second externally accessible contact elements associated with (e.g., retained by) the housing. A contact element retained by a housing may define a slot in the interior of the housing to directly engage an edge contact of the PCB. Electric power is supplied to the PCB via edge contacts without need for intervening wires or soldered connections.

Rail has first side facing towards interior side of housing wall and second side facing toward exterior side of container wall. First raised region forms part of interior side of housing wall or part of first side of rail. Second raised region forms part of exterior side of container wall or part of second side of rail. First raised region is configured for limiting movement of rail away from base plate along upward direction, and second raised region is configured for limiting such movement of container wall.
