A system for conducting a fluid injection procedure comprises: a loading device for filling containers with fluid; an information read/write device operatively associated with the loading device and configured to: read information related to the containers stored on information storage devices associated with the containers and write information related to an injection procedure and/or a patient to the information storage devices; and a fluid injector system configured to receive the containers after filling by the loading device and inject the contents of the containers of fluid into the patient. The loading device is configured to fill the containers with fluid based on the information related to the containers read from the information storage devices. The information read/write device is configured to write information to the information storage device. The fluid injector system is configured to read the information and use this information to program the fluid injector system.

System for conducting a fluid injection procedure

A connector assembly for a fluid delivery system includes a conical body defining an interior cavity and a discharge outlet, the discharge outlet defining an internal passage in fluid communication with the interior cavity; and a connector removably attached to the discharge outlet. The connector includes a central body configured to be at least partially positioned within the internal passage of the discharge outlet, and an annular connector portion connected to the central body and configured to releasably engage an exterior of the discharge outlet, the central body defining an internal channel within the central body that is in fluid communication with the interior cavity of the conical body when the connector is attached to the discharge outlet.

A battery charger system, for use with an injector system, comprises a power supply and a battery pack. The power supply converts AC power to DC power. The battery pack includes a battery and a charging module. The module monitors the operating mode of the injector system. When the battery pack is disconnected from the injection control unit, the module enables the power supply to charge the battery with DC power. When the battery pack is connected to the injection control unit: (A) upon detecting the injector system in an idle mode, the module routes DC power from the power supply to both the battery for charging thereof and the injection control unit for operation thereof; and (B) upon detecting the injector system in a non-idle mode, the module prevents the power supply from charging the battery and enables the battery to provide DC power to the injection control unit.

A hockey propulsion device that uses an infrared control unit to control speed of hockey ball ejection as well as starting and stopping. A single DC powered motor rolls a ball along a railed guideway using friction of the ball against a rubber ball propulsion drive wheel on the motor and two rails of the guideway providing three point ball stabilization and rolling ejection. At least two rolling speeds are provided. A two solenoid gate periodically releases balls into a propulsion tube that provides rotational inertia to each ball before it encounters the rotating wheel. Low battery and empty ball sensors indicate when the propulsion device is low on or is out of balls. A swivel ejection guideway allows the ball to be directed from side to side. A detachable hopper allows easy ball gathering and reloading.
