Fluid-cooled electrical apparatus characterized by a new and improved pump for circulating the fluid within the apparatus. The pump has a motor portion in fluid communication with a pump portion, non-electrically conductive bearings supporting a common shaft between the two portions. The bearings being comprised of a polyamideimide thermoplastic resin.

Transformer oil pump bearing material

The finely-divided particles of a selected phosphor material are combined with an aqueous solution of a suitable binder material to form an emulsion which is spread uniformly on the smooth surface of a support member. The wet coating is then heated to remove the water and the resulting film is sintered to produce a strong, continuous film. The film is then peeled from the support member resulting in a uniformly thick sheet of phosphor and binder from which dosimeters can be cut or stamped to any desired size.

Technique for fabricating radiation sensitive dosimeters

A composition, which is suitable for use as an adhesive, is made by mixing: (A) liquid epoxy resin and a stoichiometric excess of aromatic amine and (B) a reactive solid epoxy resin powder having an average particle size of from about 10 microns to about 420 microns, the mixture being capable of melting at temperatures of over about 60.degree. C; wherein solid epoxy (B) is mixed with a liquid mixture of epoxy-amine (A) the components of (A) form a solid reaction product adduct after addition of epoxy (B), the epoxy of (B) remains unreacted until melting of the composition, and the weight ratio of solid epoxy resin:adduct is from about 1 to 6:1.

Epoxy-amine adhesive compositions

A composition, which is suitable for use as an adhesive, is made by mixing: (A) 1 part of an adduct reaction product consisting of a solid epoxy resin and a stoichiometric excess of an aliphatic amine; with (B) about 1 part to about 6 parts of a reactive solid epoxy resin powder having an average particle size of from about 10 microns to about 420 microns, the mixture being capable of melting at temperatures of over about 60.degree. C; wherein the epoxy of (B) remains unreacted until melting.
