A pump includes a pump body defining first and second cavities. First and second rotors are disposed in the first and second cavities between an inlet passage and an outlet passage and are in sealing relationship with each other during rotation of the rotors. A drive transmission mechanism is coupled to the first and second rotors for rotating the rotors in opposite directions. During a revolution of the first rotor, a vane projecting from the first rotor emerges from a recess of the second rotor, passes the inlet passage and the outlet passage, and enters a recess of the second rotor, while the inlet passage remains sealed from the outlet passage.

Dual rotor pump

A motor for converting fluid pressure to rotational motivation, and pump for moving fluid, is provided. The motor/pump includes a drum provided within a cylindrical cavity defined by a housing. Vane assemblies are provided which extend through the inner drum, and are actuated to extend and retract through their operable coupling to a cam provided within the inner drum. As the inner drum rotates, the vanes extend and retract, alternately increasing and decreasing their drag coefficient, causing pressurized fluid admitted into the interior to drive the vanes and inner drum in a single direction. Alternatively, a power source may be coupled to the motor to drive the motor, thereby causing it to act as a pump for moving fluid from one location to another.

Cam pump

A combustion heater comprising an induction chamber provided with an inlet, a combustion chamber in fluid communication with the inlet of the induction chamber, means for moving an oxydizer from the inlet of the induction chamber to the combustion chamber, a fuel reservoir, a frame defining a fuel passageway, means for moving a fuel from the fuel reservoir through the fuel passageway to the combustion chamber, means in fluid communication with the fuel passageway for shearing a fuel prior to combustion, means in fluid communication with the fuel passageway for heating the fuel prior to combustion, and means for combusting a fuel oxydizer mixture within the combustion chamber.

Combustion heater

A pump for moving a solid containing fluid. The pump is provided with a plurality of vanes passing by an anvil. The vanes act as blades, chopping the solid waste into smaller portions as the vane passes by the anvil. The pump may be provided with a plurality of anvils or a serrated edge to divide the solid waste as finely as desired.

Chopper pump

A fluid pressure regulator assembly is provided for generating power from a pressurized fluid. A vane motor is coupled between a high-pressure fluid source and a regulator, to extract power from the pressurized fluid and reduce the burden on the fluid regulator. The assembly may be used in association with many devices, including gas grills and self-contained underwater breathing apparatuses. A plurality of vane motors may be provided and generators may be coupled thereto for producing electricity from the pressurized fluid.

Fluid pressure regulator assembly with dual axis electrical generator

This invention includes a pair of chambers each containing a piston which is reciprocated slowly by a computer controlled reversible fluid pressure pump between an advanced position for moving room air through a molecular sieve bed to strip nitrogen from the air and deliver oxygen enriched air to a patient, and a retracted position to back-flush the sieve bed with oxygen enriched air and exhaust the nitrogen rich air to the atmosphere. The pistons may be moved by piston rods or by a rack and pinion drive. In a third embodiment a single cylinder forms a pair of chambers separated by a central exhaust chamber, and expandable bellows in the chambers extend and retract either alternatively or simultaneously. In a fourth embodiment a single cylinder containing a single piston forms a pair of chambers one on each side of the piston and a molecular sieve bed communicates with each chamber.

Oxygen concentrator

A motor for converting fluid pressure to rotational motivation and pump for moving fluid, comprising a first drum provided within a second drum. The first drum is provided with a pair of vanes, each provided with a generally heart-shaped slot around a drum shaft. The orientation of the drum shaft and shape of the slots cause the vanes to extend and retract relative to the inner drum as fluid pressure or mechanical motion rotate the inner drum relative to the outer drum.

Extensible vane motor

A motor comprising a housing defining a chamber, a plate provided within said chamber, and means for condensing a gas within said housing in a manner which creates a sufficient negative pressure near said plate to assist in movement of said plate.

Condenser motor

A motor for converting fluid pressure to rotational motivation and pump for moving fluid, comprising an outer race centered about a first axis and an inner race centered about a second axis. The first axis is different from, but parallel to, the second axis. A plurality of vanes is coupled for movement relative to the inner race and a fluid is provided into the vane at a pressure sufficient to cause the vane to rotationally drive the inner race relative to the outer race. Alternatively, the inner race may be driven directly to pump fluid between the inner race and the outer race.

Fluid pump

A fluid actuated power assembly for generating power from a pressurized fluid. A tube is provided for siphoning fluid from a body of water to a vane motor. A generator is coupled to the vane motor to produce electricity. The tube is preferably modular and adaptable to a plurality of configurations. This allows the entire assembly to be portable and adaptable to many different types of fluid sources.

Fluid actuated generator

A transmission assembly comprising an overrunning clutch assembly comprising a race having an inner annular contact surface, a plurality of sprags provided along the inner annular contact surface of the race, and defining a drive space, means for retaining the plurality of sprags along the inner annular contact surface of the race, a shaft having a drive portion with a drive diameter sufficient to cause rotation of the shaft in response to a rotation of the race when the drive portion is positioned at least partially within the drive space and means for moving the drive portion of the shaft at least partially into and out of the drive space.

Transmission

A condensation apparatus comprising a fluid and means for changing said fluid from a liquid to a pressurized gas. Means are provided for condensing a portion of said pressurized gas to a first quantity of said liquid, and for deriving work from said pressurized gas as said pressurized gas condenses to said first quantity of said liquid.

Compressor cycle apparatus

A motor comprising a shaft with four racks which translate linear actuation of the racks to rotational motion of the shaft through pinions secured to sprag clutch assemblies. Motion of the rack assemblies is preferably offset to maintain a substantially constant rotation of the shaft during operation of the motor. The motor uses a pair of primary fluid expansion chambers to generate linear actuation of a first pair of racks, and a pair of secondary expansion chambers to generate linear actuation of the remaining racks.

Sprag motor

A motor or converting fluid pressure to rotational motivation and pump for moving fluid, comprising an outer race centered about a first axis and an inner race centered about a second axis. The first axis is different from, but parallel to, the second axis. A plurality of vanes is coupled for movement relative to the inner race and a fluid is provided into the vane at a pressure sufficient to cause the vane to rotationally drive the inner race relative to the outer race. Alternatively, the inner race may be driven directly to pump fluid between the inner race and the outer race.

Fluid motor

A fluid valve system is provided for a variable stroke motor. The valve has a housing forming a cylinder, a first fluid input into the cylinder, a first fluid output out of the cylinder, a second fluid input into the cylinder, and a second fluid output out of the cylinder. Provided within the cylinder is a shaft provided with slots. As the shaft rotates into a first position, fluid communication between the first fluid input and the first fluid output is shut off, while fluid communication between the second fluid input and second fluid output is opened. As the shaft rotates to a second position, communication between the first fluid input and first fluid output is opened, while the communication between the second fluid input and the second fluid output is shut off. The device is preferably hooked up to a drive cylinder in fluid communication with the first fluid output and the second fluid input. A piston is provided within the drive cylinder. A fluid supply is operably coupled to the first fluid input and means are provided for rotating the shaft at a constant speed. As pressure of the fluid increases, the stroke of the piston increases, thereby generating a longer piston stroke, while the speed of the rotating shaft remains constant.
