A flood protection bag system includes a troughlike structure having longitudinally-extending sidewalls and a bottom wall connected therebetween, along with one or more internal walls, the internal walls serving to divide the troughlike structure into a plurality of bag chambers. The longitudinally-extending sidewalls are continuous and seamless between the ends of the troughlike structure, and the bag system can be made of a plastic such as polypropylene. In one embodiment, the bag system may be implemented in conjunction with other such bag system(s). Also, in one embodiment, a frame structure is employed to support the bag chamber(s) during filling thereof with sand or other filling material, in a manner whereby tension is applied to each of the corners of the given bag chamber being filled. Further, in one embodiment, the bag chambers are covered by way of a bag top that is openable or removable relative to the bag system.

System for providing flood protection and method of implementing same

A flexible container assembly and methods for making and using such an assembly are disclosed herein. The assembly is configured to hold an amount of material, such as heavy and/or bulky material (e.g., industrial, job or work site waste material). In some embodiments, the assembly includes a support structure and a flexible container structure configured to interface with, so as to be supported at least in part by, the support structure.

Flexible container assembly and methods for making and using the same

A combination knockdown pallet structure and article container is disclosed wherein the knockdown pallet structure comprises a base panel and a pair of pockets which are secured upon undersurface portions of the base panel so as to accommodate rigid support members for accommodating the fork tines of a forklift truck. A pair of cross-brace members are pivotally secured at first end portions upon the bas member so as to be movable between first operative position and a second inoperative position in order to permit the entire pallet structure to be rolled up, folded, or otherwise knocked-down. The article container is pivotally or removably secured upon the base panel so as to provide access to the cross-brace members.

Combination knockdown pallet structure and article container

A new and improved knockdown pallet structure comprises a relatively flexible base panel which is fabricated from a suitable woven plastic material, such as, for example, polypropylene, and a pair of laterally spaced, longitudinally extending pockets are secured upon undersurface portions of the base panel so as to accommodate rigid support members, which may comprise rigid thermoplastic tubes or pipes, for accommodating the fork tines of a forklift truck when a pallet structure, having a palletized load disposed thereon, is to be lifted and transported. A pair of semi-rigid cross-brace members are respectively pivotally secured at first end portions thereof upon the pallet structure so as to be movable between a first operative position, at which the pair of semi-rigid cross-brace members will be disposed in a longitudinally spaced, laterally oriented mode, and a second position at which the pair of semi-rigid cross-brace members will be disposed in a laterally spaced, longitudinally oriented mode so as to be disposed parallel to the laterally spaced, longitudinally extending rigid support members in order to permit the entire pallet structure to be rolled up, folded, or otherwise knocked-down, for compact storage and transportation purposes.

Knockdown pallet structure, and method of erecting and knocking-down the same

An inflation/deflation valve for filling a dunnage bag with air includes a sleeve for insertion into an opening in a wall of the bag, a cap for covering the sleeve and threaded onto the sleeve and an inflation head for engaging the cap. A valve is mounted in the cap having a valve seat, a valve member moveable generally axially of the sleeve and a spring biasing the movement of the valve member in the axial direction toward the valve seat. The cap has mounting lugs on the base adjacent the bag arranged for engagement with co-operating slots of the inflation head in a bayonet fitting where the slots are shaped so that the head is cammed by the lugs in the slots to cause depression of an abutment surface of the valve member against the spring bias to open the valve. The removal of the cap allows rapid deflation of the bag for testing or reuse. The sleeve is mounted on the bag by a mounting flange attached to the sleeve at an inner end of the sleeve for engaging an inner surface of the bag wall and a separate locating ring for mounting on the sleeve for engaging an outer surface of the wall such that the sleeve is held in place in the opening by the mounting flange and the locating ring. The ring and the sleeve have a plurality of locating positions so as to define a plurality of different spaces between the flange and the ring for receiving different thicknesses of wall.
