The inventive dental composition comprises (a) a part A comprising at least one polyacid and at least one polymerizable component; and (b) a part B comprising water, wherein the composition further comprises an oxidizing agent, a reducing agent, and reactive fillers in at least one of part A or part B and wherein at least one of the polyacid, oxidizing agent, and reducing agent is in a disperse phase. The dental composition can be used in many dental applications and is particularly suited for use as a cement.

Multi-part dental compositions and kits

A try-in paste, kit, and method of use, wherein the try-in paste includes: a polyalkylene glycol that is liquid at room temperature; a polyalkylene glycol that is solid at room temperature; and a particulate material; wherein the polyalkylene glycols are present in amounts to provide a paste having a consistency of about 20 mm to about 50 mm; and wherein the particulate material is present in an amount to provide a try-in paste of a shading that matches the shading of a corresponding polymerized dental cement.

Dental try-in pastes, kits, and methods

The present invention provides a multiple part ionomeric cement system comprising an organic composition that is substantially free of added water, and an aqueous composition comprising water. The organic composition contains at least a hydrophilic component and an acid functional compound that is provided as greater than 1.0% weight of the organic composition. The liquid ingredients of the compositions are miscible, both as separate compositions and when mixed together.
