A circuit assembly pin includes a barrel, and the barrel has a substantially cylindrical profile. The barrel is be received by socket on a first circuit board. The pin also includes a body connected to the barrel, and the body has a substantially rectangular cuboid profile. The body also includes a set of protrusions. The set of protrusions includes a set of legs to be inserted to a second circuit board. The set of protrusions comprises a substantially rectangular cuboid profile generally free of projections or depressions. The set of protrusions is substantially perpendicular to the barrel such that the first circuit board is substantially perpendicular to the second circuit board.

Circuit assembly pin

An internet-based conferencing system simulates the experience of Citizens' Band (CB) radio communications without the use of CB radio transceivers. Instead of direct RF links between participants, the CBI system employs a combination of user-resident application software, central server-based conferencing software, GPS location data, and Voice over IP (VoIP) or voice over cellular technology. In the set-up procedure of the application software, the participant selects an alias CB-style 'handle' and a caricature picture, neither of which disclose the true identity or location of the participant. Since the participants are known only by their alias and caricature, their anonymity is preserved, thereby enabling greater freedom of expression and interpersonal tolerance. Participants do not select the other participants in their conference, but are assigned to a virtual 'channel' based on a selected conference category and proximity criteria, thereby simulating the serendipity of CB radio communications.

Simulated Citizens' Band conferencing system

A variable equalizer apparatus for forward and/or reverse equalizers in an amplifier. The system can include a structure to allow continuous contact of the signal flow as an equalizer is removed; jumpers with fixed resistors and associated capacitors and inductors to produce a variable range over many different values; and/or variable resistance potentiometers with fixed resistors and associated capacitors and inductors to produce a variable range over separate value equalizers.
