Easy open flow wrappers are provided that include a flexible wrapper body formed from a flexible wrapper body film, the flexible wrapper body having a front panel and a back panel sealed together along one longitudinal seam and two lateral end seams containing a product therein. At least one line of weakness () substantially extends around a portion of the flexible wrapper body to define a removable portion () of the flexible wrapper body, such that application of a separation force upon the removable portion separates the removable portion from the flexible wrapper body at the at least one line of weakness and forms an opening in the flexible wrapper body. A flexible film member () is disposed over and extending beyond the at least one line of weakness, in which the flexible film member is configured to prevent pre-separation of the removable portion from the flexible wrapper body.

Easy open flow wrappers

A socket holder may be designed as part of a socket extension or built into a socket holding end of a ratchet. The socket holder may have a mechanism to hold the socket at a conventional position. However, unlike conventional socket holders, the present invention may allow the socket to push past the holding mechanism, allowing the socket holder to fill an inside of the socket and provide pressure on the head of the bolt being applied by the socket. A magnet may be disposed on the end of the socket holder facing the bolt to help secure the bolt within the socket holder.

Socket holder

A package formed of a package material comprising a heat-sealable inner layer, an outer layer, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive disposed between the inner layer and the outer layer. The package may include a gusset with a center fold that divides the gusset into a first folded portion and a second folded portion. The package may further include a transverse heat-seal region extending across the gusset whereby the first folded portion is sealed to itself by mating surfaces of the heat-sealable inner layer and the second folded portion is sealed to itself by mating surfaces of the heat-sealable inner layer. The package may also include a patterned die cut formed in the heat-sealable inner layer, wherein at least a portion of the patterned die cut is adjacent to the transverse heat-seal region of the gusset so as to allow a portion of the inner layer to delaminate and expose a portion of the pressure-sensitive adhesive when the center fold is unfolded and the resealable pour spout is opened.

This invention encompasses a heat seal die incorporating heat tube technology for controlling the variation of temperature across a heat seal die. The invention also encompasses a system and method for portion control size packaging of flowable liquid-containing condiments in a portion size in the range from 1 to 5 ounces using such a heat seal die.
