An apparatus and method that effects selectable width of a roller track conveyance system having multiple roller tracks with asymmetric wall heights. The system includes a clip that connects lower or mating walls of two single roller tracks together. The connected roller tracks each have their own set of rollers, which form respective dispensing surfaces. A removable divider bar, which is capable of being selectively placed into the clips between the connected roller tracks, may be placed to divide the dispensing surfaces into separate surfaces or may be selectively removed to form a larger, single dispensing surface.

Selectable width track apparatus and method for a gravity fed shelving system

A gravity feed roller track and method of manufacturing same are disclosed. The roller track includes a roller tray in which a plurality of rollers are frictionally held. The tray includes a bottom wall from which first and second side supports normally extend. Each of the side supports is substantially z-shaped in vertical cross-section. More specifically, each of the side shapes includes upper and lower vertical sections laterally spaced by an angled extension wall. A plurality of recesses are provided in the extension walls and lower vertical support wall for receipt of hubs of each of the rollers. The tracks allow for smooth rolling and dispensing of product from the roller track, accommodate a range of product sizes, and enable a single size roller to be used with tracks of various width.

Rollers and track for gravity fed shelving apparatus

A gravity flow shelving system is adapted for displaying and storing merchandise in a variety of different arrangements. Each shelf on the flow shelving system comprises a bent wire frame and a shelf surface formed by a plurality of longitudinal wire tracks, allowing for uninterrupted sliding during gravity flow. A flexibly mountable backsplash spans the front of the shelf to shield price or advertising labels from potential leakage of the merchandise. Separators having U-shaped clasps affixed thereon are flexibly mountable to each shelf to form merchandise rows. Hooking members extend underneath each shelf to anchor the shelf to vertically adjustable mounting plates selectively positioned along the channeled uprights of the gravity flow shelving system.
