Disclosed is a method for producing oleogels by sonicating a mixture including an oleogelator component and an oil component with ultrasound including superpositioned ultrasound waves while cooling the mixture from a temperature wherein the mixture is in molten state to a temperature wherein the oleogelator component of the mixture is at least partially in solid state. The method produces oleogels of improved stability.

The present invention relates to systems and methods for cleaning of devices, such as heat exchangers. An intraocular pressure measurement arrangement is disclosed for measuring pressure of an eye of a patient. The arrangement can detect at least one of acoustic reflectivity, optical reflectivity, optical path difference, positioning of intraocular pressure measurement arrangement with respect to the eye, orientation of intraocular pressure measurement arrangement with respect to the eye, shape of cornea and corneal thickness. At least one source can produce acoustic, nonlinear acoustic, mechanical or a nonlinear mechanical wave from a distance, coupling to the eye to generate at least one surface wave. Upon triggering data acquisition, at least one surface wave from a distance from the eye can be detected to extract surface wave information with pressure information of the eye being based on the surface wave information.

Skeletal method and arrangement utilizing electromagnetic waves

The invention relates to a method and a device for producing nanoparticles of organic substances, in particular by controlled expansion of pressurized solutions. The method comprises: admixing the organic substance and a supercritical fluid to form a mixture at a first pressure; decreasing the first pressure gradually to a second pressure so that a flow of the mixture is formed and nucleation of the organic substance in the mixture is initiated; and, decreasing the second pressure to a third pressure, so that solidification of the fluid of the mixture, comprising the nucleated organic substance, is initiated. The device comprises: a pressure chamber () for a mixture of the organic substance and a supercritical fluid; a collection chamber () for the nanoparticles; an outlet tube () connecting the pressure chamber to the collection chamber (); and, one or more second nozzles (). The outlet tube is provided with a pressure controlling means () configured to control pressure of the mixture within the outlet tube and a first nozzle () configured to allow expansion of the mixture to the collection chamber.
