A vehicle battery assembly having specialized fasteners that includes an integrated compression limiter. The compression limiter provides protection for the fastening joint of a cover and a tray of a housing for the battery assembly. The battery assembly may also include nut and bolt assembly which may be installed by a nut insertion tool. The nut insertion tool allows the nut and bolt assembly to be installed without damaging the tray or the cover.

An apparatus can include a housing, a first contactor portion, a heat sink, and a second contactor portion. The first contactor portion can be coupled with the housing. The heat sink can be coupled with the housing. The second contactor portion can contact the first contactor portion in a first position. The second contact or portion can thermally couple with a heatsink in a second position.

A tool for gripping a flexible flat electrical cable, the tool having a top and bottom support with the bottom support having a pair of upwardly extending cable alignment notches and the top support having a cushioned strip that is receivable between the pair of cable alignment notches. A flexible electrical cable is sandwiched between the top and bottom supports and is held in an aligned position when the top and bottom supports are fastened together. The top support has at least one thumb grip thereon, and the thumb grip is angled towards one side of the top support.

The cap comprises a base member including a casing, the casing extending from the base member providing a hollow cavity for covering the receptacle enclosing the charge terminals of the charge handle, and two arms extending from the base member in a different direction from the casing, wherein the two arms are configured to receive the charging cord being coiled therebetween.
