A reaching and grabbing assist device is provided having a reaching extension for aid in reaching out of distance objects. The distal terminus of the extension has an articulating grapnel that may be angularly positioned about the lateral centerline of the shaft. A support strip on the user's wrist allows total control without the risk of the device falling out of one's grasp or reach. Made of a hard outer casing, the shaft may allow internal rigging to connect the articulating grapnel to controls at the handle. Gripping assistance tool

The diagnosed soft tissue or brain injury component of concussions is generally defined by the symptoms of the temporal lobe manifestations. However, there is an undiagnosed structural fractured component of concussions occurring within the jaw joint complex which is the focus of this invention. A precise imaging technique and the powerful 3D Cone beam scanning technology, together, have revealed fractures in temporal bones of the jaw joint space which supports the temporal lobe of the brain. These fractures are the results of the lower jaw impact forces that cause concussions and this mechanism account for a large percent of the concussions arising in sports and military operations. These fractures have never been considered, diagnosed, or treated in the management of concussions. Fracturing temporal bones in the jaw joint that supports the temporal lobe will certainly produce the symptoms of temporal lobe manifestations. With early detection, these fractures can be more rapidly healed, eliminating many temporal lobe symptoms of concussions. The device of the present invention reduces the risk of the lower jaw impact concussion and temporal bone fractures, while enhancing the ability to speak and orally communicate.

Low profile articulation jaw joint stabilizer device

A jaw-joint protective device is provided for, whitening and brightening a wearer's teeth while protecting the teeth, tongue, lips, jaw, and other delicate structures of the vital cranial triad (VCT) from injury and/or for supporting the condyle of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) in a relatively fixed (stable) position thereby stabilizing the jaw and the VCT during head contact activity, exercise, physical rehabilitation, C-force acceleration, teeth grinding disorders and sleep apnea and or permit the components of a VCT disorder to be realigned for proper healing. This device is an over-the-counter purchased, boil and bite device for whitening at least one tooth while protecting the jaw-joint, providing maxillary and mandibular teeth seats for protection of the mouth and/or healing of the VCT. This invention provides a device for customized fitting that is purchased over-the-counter that is versatile for protecting not only the mouth but also a larger area, the vital cranial triad which includes the TMJ, while at the same time allows for audible speech, reduces sleep disorders of snoring, grinding and clenching of teeth with additional benefits.

Dual use exercise whitener appliance

A mainframe computing system includes a central processor complex, a plurality of billing entities, each billing entity having a respective capacity limit, and a workload manager that schedules work requested by the plurality of billing entities on the central processor complex and tracks, by billing entity, a rolling average of millions of service units. The mainframe also includes a dynamic capping policy that identifies a maximum MSU limit, a maximum cost limit, a subset of the plurality of billing entities, and, for each billing entity in the subset, information from which to determine a MSU entitlement value and cost entitlement value. A method and apparatus for melting aluminum uses a dense metal salt of Rubidium, Cesium, or Strontium. The salt is melted by a stinger and then superheated by AC applied to electrodes immersed in the salt. Aluminum in contact with the salt melts and floats on the salt. In continuous scrap melting, inflows and outflows of aluminum are comparable and may be shielded by inert gas. The superheated salt may be purified and may be heated in a separate reservoir and pumped to and from another reservoir containing salt and/or metal. The salt may be used to supplement the heating of an existing furnace.

Aluminum melting apparatus

The muzzle release apparatus allows an operator to remotely and wirelessly disengage a restraint system from the snout of an animal. The system is activated using a small hand-held transmitter. A receiver on the collar detects the signal from the transmitter and electronically engages a solenoid mounted on a restraint under the animal's jaw. The solenoid retracts a locking mechanism that secures two metal pins to the restraint. Each pin is attached to a strap that goes around the animal's snout and is permanently mounted to the opposite side of the restraint. When the pins are released from the restraint, the straps slide off the snout allowing the restraint to fall freely away from the jaw area. The plate is attached to a collar around the animal's neck. The plate will stay attached to the collar at all times, even if deactivated.

Automatic cover disposable syringe

A two stage intra-oral protective system is provided for protecting teeth, lips, and jaw from injury and/or for supporting the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) in a relatively fixed (stable) position thereby stabilizing the TMJ during head contact activity and/or permit the components of a TMJ disorder to be realigned for proper healing. Stage one is a mandibular orthodontic repositioning appliance and stage two is a mouth guard providing maxillary and mandibular teeth seats whereby the two stages harmoniously work together for protection and/or healing of the TMJ.
