A powered hand tool includes a motor, a cutting member drivable to cut a workpiece, and a drive system interconnecting the motor and the cutting member and operable to drive the cutting member in response to operation of the motor. A housing at least partially encloses the cutting member and the motor and a debris removal system is movable between a first position and a second position. The debris removal system is operable to clean a portion of the drive system when in the second position. The debris removal system includes an abrasive member, an automatic actuator, and a sensor operable to selectively generate a signal. The automatic actuator is movable between an actuated position in which the abrasive member moves to the second position and a non-actuated position in which the abrasive member moves to the first position in response to the sensor.

Debris removal system for a power tool

A powered hand tool includes a handle portion arranged to provide a grip point for a user, a motor, a cutting member drivable to cut a workpiece, and a drive system interconnecting the motor and the cutting member and operable to drive the cutting member in response to operation of the motor. A housing at least partially encloses the cutting member and the motor and a debris removal system is movable between a first position and a second position. The debris removal system is operable to clean a portion of the drive system when in the second position.

A drill press includes a housing and a motor assembly, with a motor carriage attached to the housing. The motor assembly includes an electric motor and drill bit, and the motor carriage is operable for moving the motor assembly relative to the housing. A base, coupled to a portion of the housing, is operable for magnetically coupling the tool to a workpiece. The drill press also includes a DC power source and an AC power input for providing power to the motor. A power supply switching unit, electrically coupled to DC power source and the AC power input, selectively electrically couples the motor with one of the DC power source and the AC power input for providing power to the motor.

A pipe stand able to support a conduit includes a table having a first surface, supports pivotably coupled to the table for supporting the table in an elevated position with respect to the support surface, and a shelf extending between the supports and positioned between the table and the support surface. At least one of the supports includes an electrical connector, and a power cord is in electrical communication with the electrical connector and connectable to an external power source. The pipe stand includes a first jaw extending from the first surface of the table and shaped to engage a portion of the conduit, and a second jaw a second jaw extending from the first surface of the table and spaced a distance from the first jaw, the second jaw shaped to engage another portion of the conduit. A clamping device is supported by one of the first jaw and the second jaw. The clamping device includes a cord removeably coupled to the table and engageable with the conduit and a winch for biasing the cord with respect to the conduit.

A cutting tool includes a cutting body and a connecting structure configured to support the cutting body. The cutting body can include teeth positioned circumferentially around and extending outwardly from the cutting body. The connecting structure can include a drive shaft for drivingly connecting the cutting tool to a power tool. The connecting structure can also include a connecting plate and a locking member for securing the cutting body to the connecting structure. In some embodiments, the locking member is movable relative to the drive shaft between a locked position, in which the locking member secures the cutting body to the connecting structure, and an unlocked position, in which the cutting body is removable from the connecting structure.

Cutting tool and method of operating the same

A stud punch head for a power tool includes a head housing and a first arm movably coupled to the head housing. The first arm supports a punch. The stud punch head also includes a second arm movably coupled to the head housing and relative to the first arm. The second arm supports a die opposite the punch. The stud punch head also includes a drive mechanism positioned at least partially within the head housing and operatively coupled to a motor of the power tool. The drive mechanism is operable to move the first arm and the second arm toward and away from each other.
