A retractable safety syringe that retracts the needle cannula into the plunger module and destroys the syringe to prevent reuse or an accidental needle prick by destroying the plunger barrier and the cannula barrier within the syringe. The needle cannula is released into the plunger module by shearing the cannula barrier and plunger barrier with an internal annular shear and cutter head. The needle cannula module may be replaced with a layer or smaller needle cannula module thereby allowing a greater selection of needle cannulas.

Self destructive safety syringe

A safety syringe with a hollow barrel housing and a retraction trunk coaxially formed within the housing to forming an annular chamber between the inner surfaces of said outer elongated hollow barrel and the outer surface of said retraction trunk. A needle cannula carriage is held within the distal end of the retraction trunk by a latching means and a biasing means. A needle cannula module is suitably fixed to the distal end of the needle cannula carriage wherein a cannula or passage provides fluid communication from the needle cannula module, through the needle cannula carriage, through the retraction trunk and into the annular chamber. An annular plunger is provided between the inner surfaces of the outer elongated hollow barrel and the outer surface of the retraction trunk, wherein said annular plunger forces fluid through said annulus and into a body. When it is desired, a button may be pushed causing the latching means to release said needle cannula carriage, thereby allowing said biasing means to thrust said needle cannula carriage with said needle cannula into said retraction trunk, thereby preventing said needle cannula from accidentally pricking others or from being reused.

A retractable needle cannula module for connecting to a conventional syringe has a biased spring needle cannula. The spring needle cannula is biased and locked to prevent the spring needle cannula from pulling the needle into the hub chamber. After medicament has been injected into a body, the spring needle cannula is released and trapped inside the hub chamber.

After medication is injected into a body with the safety needle cannula and the safety syringe, the safety syringe module reacts with the safety needle cannula module and further causes said safety needle cannula to be automatically retracted and disposed within the hollow plunger said safety syringe module.

A spring needle cannula with a first end and a second end wherein said first end is inserted into a body to inject medicament into said body and wherein the second end of said spring needle cannula is formed into a coiled spring and wherein said coiled spring is stretched into a biased spring needle cannula and contained in a modular hub chamber and wherein said first end of said spring needle cannula extends from a tunnel formed in said first end of said modular hub chamber and wherein said second end of said needle cannula is formed into a biased spring cannula and held between an inclined plane latching means and a flange, fixed to a ridge formed at the second end of said modular hub chamber. To release said biased spring needle cannula after said spring needle cannula has been used to inject medicament into a body, a button is depressed thus releasing the biased spring needle from said inclined plane latching means thereby releasing said biased spring needle allowing said biased spring needle cannula to form a coil near said second end of said hub chamber and thus retracting said first end of said needle into said modular hub chamber thereby rendering said needle harmless from an accidental needle prick. The inclined plane latching device may be used on a needle cannula or on a needle for an IV catheter.

A safety needle cannula module that is interchangeable in combination with a safety syringe and plunger module, wherein the safety needle cannula module is formed with one of a variety of needle cannula sizes and wherein a safety syringe may be one of a variety of syringe sizes. The safety needle cannula module with needle cannula of desired size is attached to a safety syringe module wherein said safety syringe module is a desired size. After medication is injected into a body with the safety needle cannula and the safety syringe, the safety syringe module reacts with the safety needle cannula module and further causes said safety needle cannula to automatically retract and be disposed within the hollow plunger within said safety syringe module.

A intravenous catheter device having a biased spring hard needle, disposed in a soft catheter. The biased spring hard needle is held within an elongated hollow barrel wherein the biased spring hard needle is extended past the first end of the soft catheter, and is further disposed in the inside of the soft catheter and further extends past the first end of the elongated hollow barrel wherein the biased spring hard needle is pulled into an almost straight line wherein the second end of the biased spring hard needle is fixed to an end cap at the second end of the elongated hollow barrel. The biased spring hard needle is held within the soft catheter and the elongated hollow barrel by an inclined plane latching device. When the inclined plane latching device is disengaged with the biased spring hard needle, the spring section of the biased spring hard needle that is near the second end of the biased spring hard needle instantly withdraws the first end of the biased spring hard needle out of the soft catheter and further withdraws the first end of the biased spring hard needle out of the first end of the elongated hollow barrel wherein the first end of the biased spring hard needle cannot accidentally prick or injure a person thereby preventing an accidental injection of bacteria, virus or other undesirable material into a person.

Inclined plane latching device for an IV catheter

A blood collection device combining an elongated needle cannula and vial insertion cannula fixed to a rotatable reel. The rotatable reel is supported in an L-shaped bowl and hollow stem combination. A sloping needle cannula is injected into a body or vein inside of a body so blood or other fluid flows from the body into the needle cannula and into the vial insertion cannula. A vial is inserted into the bowl until the vial insertion cannula penetrates the soft vial plug and the vial then is filled with blood or other fluid. When sufficient blood or fluid is drawn into the vial, the vial is removed and a lever or button is pushed, releasing a biased coil spring which causes the reel to rotate, thus winding the needle cannula and the vial insertion cannula around the reel, destroying the needle cannula and the vial insertion cannula and further pulling the needle cannula into the hollow stem and the vial insertion cannula into the bowl, preventing a person from being accidentally pricked or otherwise injured by either contaminated cannula.

A modular retractable spring cannula blood collection device that is comprised of a needle cannula with a rigid first end and a biased spring formed at the second end. The second end of the needle cannula that is formed into a biased spring needle cannula is contained in an elongated hollow tube with a first end and a second end wherein the first end has a cannula support tunnel and a hub is formed at the second end. The second end of the biased spring needle cannula is fixed to the second end of the elongated hollow tube and a latching means is fixed to the spring needle cannula and wherein the latching means is fixed to a latch release near the first end of the elongated hollow tube thereby supporting the first end of the spring needle cannula and thereby further restraining the biased spring needle cannula within the elongated hollow tube. The first end of the spring needle cannula extends past the cannula support tunnel wherein the first end of the needle cannula is injected into a body and further withdraws blood from the body wherein the blood flows through the spring needle cannula, and into a vacutainer fixed to the hub of the elongated hollow tube and wherein the blood further flows into a vial in the vacutainer wherein the vial is suitably filled with blood and removed from the vacutainer. The latch release means is activated thereby releasing the latch means, further allowing the biased spring needle cannula to withdraw the first end of the spring needle cannula into the elongated hollow tube thereby preventing an accidental prick or injury.

A needle cannula with a first end and a second end wherein a section near said second end must be shaped into a coiled spring and then pulled into a biased spring needle cannula without destorting the inside surface of said spring needle cannula. A wire of suitable section is inserted into said cannula of said spring needle cannula and wherein said first end of said spring needle cannula is inserted into a hole formed in a retainer plate and wherein a portion of said spring needle cannula with said wire in said cannula is wrapped or coiled about a coil bar wherein said needle cannula is formed into a spring needle cannula and wherein the inside walls of said cannula cannot deform due to said wire disposed in said cannula. The coiled spring needle cannula with said wire inside is removed from said coil bar and further installed into a modullar hub chamber and further stretched to a suitable length wherein said stretched spring needle cannula becomes a biased spring needle cannula wherein said biased spring needle cannula is inserted into a hub chamber and wherein said biased spring needle cannula is suitably fixed to said hub chamber wherein said first end of said biased spring needle cannula extends forward froming a straight needle cannula and wherein said wire is removed from said biased spring needle cannula.

A device that is fastened to a boat, dock or pier wherein the device is in the configuration of a mushroom top at the upper end, a base plate at the lower end and a stanchion fixing the base plate to the mushroom top and wherein a ring with an extended finger is loosely disposed about the stanchion between the mushroom top and the base plate thereby allowing the ring to rotate freely and wherein the device is either fixed to a dock or a boat wherein a rope that has a knot on the first end of said rope is inserted into a slot formed in said extended finger wherein said knot cannot be pulled from said slot formed in said extended finger thereby fixing the first end of the rope to a first device that is fixed to dock and wherein the second end of the rope is tied to a ring that is disposed about a stanchion of a second device that is fixed to the boat thereby warping said boat to said dock or pier.

A modular safety needle cannula device that can be stored independently from the syringe that it will be used with, wherein when it is to be used the modular safety needle cannula device is attached or fixed to a suitable syringe, used to inject medicament into a body and than the used needle cannula is suitably disposed into an elongated module wherein the needle cannula cannot prick or harm a person. The device is comprised of a hub that is used to attach the device to a standard syringe, a capsule, a slideable piston, a compressed biased spring, a needle cannula that is straight and rigid on the first end and curved or flexible between the first end and the second end and wherein the second end of the needle cannula is fixed to the hub. A trigger or release means holds the slideable piston near the first end of the elongated capsule. After the needle cannula has been used to inject medicament into the body, the trigger or release meanes is pressed, releasing the slideable piston and thereby allowing the compressed spring to thrust the slideable piston toward the second end of the needle cannula thereby crushing the curved and flexible section of the needle cannula between the slideable piston and the second end of the elongated capsule thereby destroying the needle cannula and further encapsulating the point at the first end of the needle cannula in the inside of the elongated capsule thereby preventing an accidental needle prick or injury from the point or the first end of the needle cannula.

Modular one handed safety retractable needle cannula

A syringe tip device and method wherein a safety chamber is provided at the end of the hub for a slip tip, eccentric tip, or threaded tip syringe. The hub is placed on any conventional syringe in a convention manner; the safety sheath protecting the needle cannula is removed and the syringe is filled with the desired amount of medication wherein the medication is injected into a patient wherein when the process is complete, a button or lever is depressed, releasing an internal biased spring that strikes the needle cannula and bends the needle cannula within the hub chamber until the entire needle cannula is bent and destroyed within the hub chamber thus rendering the needle cannula safe from an accidental needle cannula prick.
