A process for producing a medical electrode. A coil of conductive metal is slid over a tubular insulative substrate. The spaces between individual turns of the coil are backfilled with an insulative plastic. The backfilled plastic is thereafter etched away from and off of the exterior of the metal coil by means of a gas plasma.

Method for fabrication of a medical electrode

A composition of matter useful as a high solids coating is disclosed. The composition contains at least one fatty polyol derived by ring-opening an epoxidized fatty alcohol or ester, and at least one methylolamino curing agent. The coatings from these compositions have increased flexibility as compared to coatings prepared from comparable polyols.

Acryloxymethyl fatty compounds are provided which are useful as monomers in the preparation of radiation curable coatings. Acryloxymethyl substituted fatty compounds

Compositions containing an organic polyisocyanate and a fatty polyol are provided. The fatty polyols may be derived from an epoxidized fatty alcohol that has been reacted with a polyfunctional-hydroxy compound. The compositions are preferably salt-free and are useful in preparing a variety polyurethane materials.
