The present disclosure relates to systems, methods, and non-transitory computer readable media that utilize context-aware sensors and multi-dimensional gesture inputs across a digital image to generate enhanced digital images. In particular, the disclosed systems can provide a dynamic sensor over a digital image within a digital enhancement user interface (e.g., a user interface without visual elements for modifying parameter values). In response to selection of a sensor location, the disclosed systems can determine one or more digital image features at the sensor location. Based on these features, the disclosed systems can select and map parameters to movement directions. Moreover, the disclosed systems can identify a user input gesture comprising movements in one or more directions across the digital image. Based on the movements and the one or more features at the sensor location, the disclosed systems can modify parameter values and generate an enhanced digital image.

Techniques for edit experience for transformation of digital content are delivered in a digital medium environment. According to various implementations, an image editor system receives edits to a digital image to transform the digital image and generate an edited image. An edit experience is then generated that is presentable to recreate the image transformation process. The image editor system outputs the edit experience to enable a user to interact with the edit experience to reproduce the image transformation, such as via a step-by-step process. In at least some implementations, edits to a particular digital image are saved as presets that can be suggested for editing other images, such as images that are determined to be similar to an edited image.

A digital asset management application stores a mixture of original and lossy assets in a user's local storage resource. This mixture is dynamically adjusted in response to usage patterns and availability of local storage. If local storage is limited, the number of original assets stored locally is reduced. If local storage resources are critically low, lossy assets are purged. A user's interactions with his/her digital assets are monitored, and assets that are perceived to be less important to a user are purged from local storage before assets that are perceived to be more important. An asset may be deemed to be 'important' based on any number of relevant criteria, such as user selection, user rating, or user interaction. Coordinating asset allocation between local and cloud-based storage resources requires little or no active management on behalf of the user, thus transparently providing the user with the benefits of cloud storage.
