Described are methods and devices for detecting cable network interference on a wireless network. In one aspect, disclosed is a method, performed by a processor of a cable interference detection device, of detecting interference in a wireless network caused by a cable network. The method includes: obtaining a signal signature of a wireless signal received at a receiver of a mobile communication device, the signal signature being a fast fourier transform representation of the wireless signal; and determining that the wireless signal represents interference caused by the cable network by comparing the signal signature to a cable network signal signature.

Methods and devices are described for provisioning embedded universal integrated circuit cards (EUICCs). A certification server may store records for each EUICC containing provisioned profile data. A regulatory domain server may govern a regulatory domain containing a plurality of mobile network operators (MNOs) and may assist with provisioning wireless devices containing EUICCs. The EUICC may store a hierarchy of profiles, including a device profile, a regulatory domain profile, and/or an MNO profile. The EUICC may include a fully-qualified domain name for the certification server, the device installation server, and/or the regulatory domain server so as to trigger provisioning or re-provisioning over an IP connection.

System and method for remote provisioning of embedded universal integrated circuit cards

A multi-use embedded universal integrated circuit card contains more than one active MNO (mobile network operator) profile. The example card may include a time manager and a radio resource schedule for managing access to a radio within a wireless device. The time manager enables one of the active MNO profiles at a time in accordance with the radio resource schedule, effectively allocating respective time slices to applications associated with each of the active MNO profiles.

Radio management method and system using embedded universal integrated circuit card

A method for re-using an existing IPSec tunnel for multiple services. The IPSec tunnel is established from customer premises equipment to the core network to support licensed frequency communications, such as a femtocell. UMA communication using unlicensed frequencies may be carried out by re-using the IPSec tunnel to securely route UMA communications from a UMA device to a UNC within the core network via the customer premises equipment. The network determines whether to redirect UMA communications through an existing IPSec tunnel by determining whether a newly established second IPSec tunnel for UMA communications originates from an access point collocated with a femtocell that has an existing IPSec tunnel.
