The disclosed system enables a user to monitor and control a remote equipment site from any remote location, over the Internet, while maintaining the operating software the system provider's server. All user data access is through the use of modules, or servlets, that prevent the provider's operating software from being directly accessed, thereby eliminating modification or alteration by any user. The system preferably provides several levels of access, through the use of access codes, to prevent unauthorized users from accessing information. The system communicates with remote units that are proximate the remote equipment and have communication capabilities to enable the remote units to have either one or two way communication with the provider software. The remote units have monitoring devices, that receiving status data from at least one piece of equipment for transmission to the provider software for storage and user access through the servlet(s). Each of the remote units is programmed by the user with definable maximums and minimums for data received from said monitoring means. If the values for a piece of equipment fall out of these ranges, the system provider is notified by the remote unit. The system provider can then notify the user through the use of a pager, cell phone, or other notification means. The provider software automatically contacts each of the remote units for each user, on a predetermined schedule, and updates data from each remote unit based. The provider software also enables either the user or the remote unit to request a data update in addition to the predetermined scheduled transmissions.

Remote data access and system control

A system for controlling one or more borehole pumps includes a receiver/separator tank. The receiver/separator tank includes a body having a sealable top cap, an electronics panel, a separator housing, a separator cap that divides the electronics panel from the separator housing, and an inlet base at a second end of the body and dimensioned to maintain entry pipes in appropriate positions. The tank further includes a fluid outlet pipe; a gas pipe; a safety line; a supply line; an exhaust line; a propellant line; a fluid return line; and a spiral diffuser. The spiral diffuser is connected to the fluid return line to disperse fluid received through the return line at an angle to separate gas contained in the fluid. Pressure from the fluid causes the spiral diffuser to spin within the separator housing, and thus, separating gas contained within the fluid from the fluid.

Multi-well computerized control of fluid pumping

A system for controlling one or more borehole pumps to enable pumping-on-demand is described. The system uses a computerized controller which, in combination with sensors, monitors and controls the activity of the pump, thereby controlling fluid in the borehole. The system is continually in one of three modes, the monitoring mode, the pump mode, and the recovery mode. Within each cycle of modes, the system performs multiple checks on the apparatus involved. The data obtained during the check is stored in appropriate databases as well as checked against predetermined norms. In the event of a malfunction within the apparatus, or other supervised and/or monitored functions, the system can activate a notification system, such as a centralized monitoring facility. A pump is disclosed with a fluid sensor to detect the presence of fluid and transmit this presence to the computerized monitoring system. A slug sensor notifies the computer of the beginning and end of a predetermined quantity of fluid. An exterior housing with a lightning protector can be placed over the borehole to contain the monitoring computer and associated read outs. At least one shunt valve is affixed along the propellant and return lines inline to accommodate accumulation of fluid. A receiver/separator tank has a separator member to separate the gas from the fluid.
