The disclosure relates to a battery holder for the receiving of a plurality of battery modules in an electrically driven vehicle. The battery holder may include a plurality of juxtaposed module receptacles, wherein each module receptacle is configured to receive the battery module, and a profile wall that defines the plurality of module receptacles, wherein a heat exchanger is configured to temper the battery modules is formed in the side wall, wherein the heat exchanger comprises a plurality of hollow channels that extend along the module receptacles.

A longitudinal beam for a motor vehicle and also to a method for the production of the longitudinal beam is disclosed. The longitudinal beam is produced from a lightweight metal profile. The extrusion direction of the lightweight metal profile runs transverse to the longitudinal direction of the longitudinal beam.

The disclosure comprises a battery holder for receiving at least one electric battery in a vehicle that includes a hollow chamber profile with a hollow chamber that is defined by a base wall and a cover wall, where the electric battery is configured for placement on the cover wall. The battery holder also includes a heat exchanger structure configured for tempering the electric battery, where the heat exchanger structure is formed within a cover wall section of the cover wall and includes at least one hollow channel that intersperses the cover wall.

A cooling arrangement for a battery box includes a plate-shaped heat exchanging element, a cooling channel secured to the heat exchanging element, and a fluid collector for collecting or feeding a fluid into the cooling channel. The fluid collector includes a volume region and has a receiving opening on a side proximate to the cooling channel for introduction of the cooling channel to thereby fluidly connect the volume region with the cooling channel. A sealing element and a clamping element are arranged on an outside of the fluid collector at the receiving opening, with the clamping element being traversed by the cooling channel. A clamping tab is arranged above or below the receiving opening in surrounding relationship to the sealing element and the clamping element to thereby secure the cooling channel immovably to the fluid collector.

A method for producing a motor vehicle component from a light metal alloy includes: extruding an extruded profile with, in cross section, at least two mutually different wall thicknesses and at least one closed hollow chamber and with an extrusion width, at least partially flattening and/or widening the cross section to a processing width, wherein the processing width is greater than the extrusion width, before or after the flattening and/or widening, performing separation to form blanks, processing the blanks by deformation to form the motor vehicle component.

Method for producing a motor vehicle component from an extruded light metal profile

An impact beam and a method of producing the impact beam for a motor vehicle is disclosed. A light metal profile with an extrusion width is produced by flattening the light metal profile to a working width and cutting to length to form semi-finished products. The semi-finished products are subjected to further treatment by press-forming techniques to form the impact beam. The impact beam has a longitudinal length which extends transversely to the direction of extrusion of the light metal profile.
