A filter device has a filter housing having a receiving space and a carrier housing. A filter element is arranged in the carrier housing, wherein the carrier housing is inserted into the receiving space of the filter housing and locked in the receiving space. A bracket with a clamping section is arranged on the carrier housing and is secured pivotally on the carrier housing by a hinge so as be pivotable between a locking position and a release position. In the locking position, the damping section of the bracket is clamped between a step on the filter housing and a step on the carrier housing and is secured in a self-locking position.

Filter with a filter housing

A filter element (), particularly for the intake air of an internal combustion engine. The filter element () has a filter body () and a seal () disposed circumferentially around the filter body (). The seal () is bonded to the filter body () with an adhesive () and includes a hard component () and a soft component (). The hard component (), which rests directly on a housing section, prevents the filter element () from moving relative to this housing section, and since the filter element cannot move relative to the housing section, damage to the filter element is avoided.

Filter element and filter system for the intake air of an internal combustion engine

A filter element, particularly a secondary element for a filter system in the intake tract of an internal combustion engine, which filter element includes a zig-zag pleated filter medium surrounded by a circumferential frame of polyurethane foam. The frame has a substantially oval contour and is insertable into an oval opening. To reproduce the oval contour, the plate-like medium has beveled lateral regions, such that a maximum effective filter surface is obtained with a minimum amount of waste. A circumferential groove or a circumferential web is provided in the frame to seal the polyurethane foam frame to the opening.

Filter element

A filter has a filter housing and a receptacle chamber in the filter housing into which a filter element is insertable. The filter housing has a housing cover for opening and closing an opening of the receptacle chamber. The housing cover is situated in an area of the filter housing between the oncoming flow side and the outgoing flow side of the filter element.

Filter in a filter housing

A multicell cyclone with a plurality of cyclone cells and a method for the production thereof, in which the cyclone cells of the multicell cyclone are combined into groups from which deposited particles are cleaned out by vacuum suction through channel structures. This permits better control of the discharge of separated particles. Vacuum suction of the separated particles can be effected, for instance, via openings () which are jointly provided for the group () of cyclone cells. The group of cyclone cells can furthermore be produced as a module, which can, for instance, be assembled from two parts () in which like structural elements of a group of cyclones are combined into one respective part. This makes it possible to optimize the separation result with little structural complexity and at low production cost.

Multicell cyclone and method for producing it

A filter system for the air intake of an internal combustion engine, in which an oval filter element is disposed in a housing, and a pre-separator is also provided which includes one or more cyclones.

Filter system

The invention concerns an intake system, in particular an intake pipe of thermoplastic plastics for the intake air of an internal combustion engine with in particular cylinder rows arranged in a V-shape. The intake system comprises at least two elements (,), the first element (,) having a substantially closed shape and simultaneously forming the lower half-shell of the intake pipes. The second element (,) is designed as the upper half-shell of the intake pipes and is connected to the first element (,) by the plastics welding technique.
